According to Dr Lynch, this is a bit better tolerated than taking the full dose of capsules just once a day.&#xA0;These side-effects are more likely if the recommended dosage is exceeded, if you are taking too high of a dose when first starting, or if taken on an empty stomach. Always take this product with food if you find that you may be sensitive to them on an empty stomach, and in divided doses throughout the day. Dr. Ben Lynch recommends starting with a small dose and only working your way up if needed. He always suggests the Pulse Method as outlined in his book &#x201C;Dirty Genes&#x201D;.&#xA0;Do Gut Nutrients (Formerly Optimal GI) contain GMOs?&#xA0;Testing verifies that Gut Nutrients (Formerly Optimal GI) is free from GMO markers.&#xA0;Gut Nutrients (Formerly Optimal GI) contains citrus fiber. Is it okay to take if I have histamine sensitivity? Citrus fiber is different than citrus itself. The fiber is not known to contain or liberate histamine. &#xA0;But keep in mind histamine intolerance and sensitivity can vary person-to-person, and therefore many foods that may be okay for some are not okay for others.
