Who is B Complex Plus intended for and how to use.Updated 3 hours ago

B Complex Plus is intended for those needing all the essential B vitamins in potent doses, to support deficiencies, diets lacking in B vitamins (vegan or vegetarian diets), or needing comprehensive methylation pathway support.†

Did you know that you need B vitamins every day?

That’s because your body doesn’t store these water-soluble vitamins.

Nearly every biochemical process in your body is in some way dependent upon B vitamins.

There are eight B vitamins considered essential because your body cannot make them. Vegan and vegetarian diets tend to be lower in some of these essential nutrients. Those with certain genetic mutations, such as MTHFR or MTRR variations, may have difficulty obtaining them from food alone. Without adequate B vitamins, you might be struggling with low energy levels, elevated homocysteine levels, and inadequate methylation.

B Complex Plus is a potent vitamin B complex supplement. It provides active forms of the 8 essential B vitamins plus choline for additional methylation support.

B Complex Plus is an excellent option if you’re looking for a high-strength, one-a-day B complex dietary supplement. It contains over 100% of the daily value for all eight essential B vitamins. This formulation is ideal for those who are deficient or are looking for higher levels of B vitamins in their supplement.

B Complex Plus includes 680 mcg DFE (400 mcg) of the active, methylated form of folate. Active folate is known as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). It is the only form of folate that crosses the blood-brain barrier. It supports MTHFR gene variations and healthy methylation throughout your body.

Folic acid is never included in any Seeking Health dietary supplements. This artificial version of folate is not well utilized by the body. It can even contribute to folate deficiency and other adverse side effects!

B Complex Plus also includes 50 mcg of vitamin B12 in the bioavailable forms of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. Here at Seeking Health, you’ll never find the cyanide-containing form of B12 known as cyanocobalamin. Before being used, your liver must first convert it into an active form and discard the cyanide. It appears that methylcobalamin may be a gentler option that the body can use more efficiently than cyanocobalamin.

Bioavailable forms of B vitamins promote healthy:

  • Immune system function
  • Energy production
  • Hormone balance
  • Positive mood
  • Nerves and brain
  • Red blood cells
  • Homocysteine levels

Choline is a source of methyl groups. It is included in this super B-complex to support methylation. It appears to play key roles in healthy nervous system and brain function, liver and heart health, and cell membrane formation.

B Complex Plus contains potent amounts of your daily essential B vitamins in bioactive forms plus choline. This formula is gluten-free and free of GMO markers. It is ideal for those experiencing deficiency or in need of higher amounts of B vitamins. It supports a healthy methylation pathway and nearly every biochemical process in your body.

Get ready to tackle the day with this powerful, energy-supporting formula!

Suggested use:

Take 1 capsule with food or as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep.

Always use the Pulse Method as outlined by Dr. Ben Lynch. This method recommends using a supplement based on your need for it, by tuning in to how you feel each day. When you start to feel good, reduce or stop supplementation to prevent taking too much and feeling bad. Then take again when you feel you need it (stressful day, traveling, etc), hence “pulsing”.

Warnings

Consult with your healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use if inner tamper seal is damaged.

Children and pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use if tamper seal is damaged. Consult with a healthcare professional before use if you are using antibiotics or other medications.

When taking high doses of nutrients such as B12 and folate, monitor blood levels and use under the supervision of a qualified physician.

Side Effects
Side effects of B vitamins may uncommonly include:

  • Nausea
  • Orange urine
  • Stomach upset
  • Rash
  • Flushing
  • Itching
  • Mild fever
  • Sometimes stomach upset

Individuals who have recently undergone surgery for a coronary stent should avoid using B12.

B Complex Plus contains niacin - if you are sensitive to niacin, you may experience a "flush" sensation when using B Complex Plus. This is a result of the niacin dilating blood vessels and increasing circulation under the surface of the skin. This can cause redness, a sensation of warmth, itching, tingling or sometimes a pulsating sensation - especially in the face or neck, or the upper torso.

If you believe that you are experiencing any adverse reactions, please see your healthcare professional immediately. Each individual may react differently to any product or supplement. We always recommend that you consult with your healthcare professional prior to considering the use of B Complex Plus or any supplement.
