Is this safe to take while breast feeding? | Yes it is :) In health, |
Hi there, I've ordered some of these and then saw other people's questions and wondering whether I need to prepare before taking them. I don't have a gallbladder (removed 2009) and diagnosed coeliac and so strictly GF for 8 years, but still struggling with energy levels. Recent bloods (UK tests) showed iron saturation 12%, iron 8.5 umol/l, transferritin 2.82 g/L, Serum folate 2.3 ug/L, Ferritin 20 ug/L, B12 422 ng/L, 250H Vit D 40nmol/L. Also got the MTHFR TT variation so found these vitamins when looking for methylated versions. Should I take some digestive support like the suggestion to other questions and would there be any point without a gallbladder or the methlyfolate before the multivitamin? I don't currently take any meds or vitamins but think I should be supporting liver without gallbladder. (Dr has prescribed folic acid and said I need to permanently take them but NHS whilst amazing, it is stretched and they don't have time and I struggle to get appointment). I've just ordered the dirty genes book, so will hopefully understand more when it arrives :-). | If you're struggling with low energy levels, let's start with some fundamentals first. Consider:
I'd do these for a month, then add in the chewable multivitamin and take 1/2 a chewable with a protein based breakfast to start. Keep me posted. You should notice changes within a day with this support. In health, |
Hello which multi vitamin would be best for someone with mcas | One without folate or B12 as these may trigger histamine. Consider:
If stress is high in your life, then Multivitamin Sensitive supports a healthy stress response as well.* Stress increases mast cell activation. If you're high estrogen, and symptoms worse just prior to menses and better after, then consider using DIM+I3C after dinner for two weeks prior to menses then stop once menses starts to support healthy estrogen levels.* High estrogen increases mast cell activation. Hi there Since you no longer manufacture the powder version of the optimal multivitamin, I wanted to ask whether it’s possible to blend the chewable into a smoothie rather than chew? Or would this affect the product quality? Many thanks | It wouldn't affect the quality but it would ruin the taste of your smoothie. What I'd do is possibly smash it with the back of a spoon, then put into a shot glass with some juice. Then shoot it down. Then enjoy your smoothie ;) In health, |
I am not sure if copper or selenium will cause me any issues is this a small amount is copper good for you ?bought the chewable since seemed like good vitamins . Waiting for it to arrive …You think it would be a better multi than the sensitive covering wider variety ? I really know very little about vitamins .. If you had option to use chewable or sensitive and was not sensitive what would you use ? not sure if I am or not .. I had some headache and fatigue maybe stomach pain with some vitamins, but not sure would with yours since your products are higher quality and cleaner …. I wonder if it’s placebo or health anxiety just working me over .. | If struggling with anxiety, fatigue and stomach pain, I would not start with a multivitamin. I'd start with supporting a healthy digestive system. I'd consider:
Start here - and introduce one supplement every couple days so you can feel how each supplement is working before you add in a new variable. It's not good to start with a multivitamin in the beginning. This is much better, more gentle and prepares your body for the nutrients. And - I'd still use the Multivitamin Sensitive when it arrives over this chewable. Or you can use 1/4 to 1/2 a capsule of Multivitamin One MF mixed in a bite of food with your breakfast - but don't do this until you've done the above for a month. In health, |
Do you have this product with no copper or selenium? What would be something similar if not without those two ingredients I hear they are unsafe .. Is that true ? | We have Multivitamin Sensitive coming in - I am not sure when. My team should know. In health, |
I have low B12 and Dr. currently has me on ortho molecular Methyl B complex. I'm wanting to switch to your methyl B12 with Methylfolate. Can I also take the Optimal Multivitamin along side the B12? | You may combine these, yes. What you want to look out for is increased irritability, headaches, joint pain and difficulty sleeping. If you are experiencing these, then you are taking too much B12 and methylfolate. I recommend starting your day by waking up to a 1/2 to 1 lozenge of Methyl B12 with Methylfolate. Then, with a protein based breakfast, consider taking 2-3 capsules of Optimal Multivitamin. IF NEEDED, at lunch, take 2-3 more capsules of Optimal Multivitamin. IF NEEDED, at around 3 PM, take 2 more capsules of Optimal Multivitamin with a snack. You know you need additional Optimal Multivitamin at these times if you are feeling tired, low mood or low energy and you want healthy levels of each.* I also highly recommend using Optimal Electrolyte. Mix one serving - or two - a day. Sip it. Do not chug. Hydration is extremely important. In health, |
i'd like to read the dosages on the product's back label, but cannot because it's not available on the site. can you refer us to it now/soon? if so, email me the link. | It's hiding - I'm having my team move it. The link says 'View Supplements Label' - just above the price in green - and below the paragraph talking about niacin. We will have that fixed tomorrow. Thank you for pointing it out. In health, |
Do you the ave a multivitamin in pill form. I'm heterozygous for MTHFR. Also along with a multivitamin should I take a B complex if so which one? Thank you so much | I recommend the Multivitamin One but I think we are sold out at the moment. It should be in stock soon. When taking our multivitamins, you do not need to take additional B vitamins. You're set there. Here is our best multivitamin. Consider taking 2-3 capsules with breakfast and, if needing additional support later in the day, another 2-3 with lunchhttps://www.seekinghealth.com/products/multivitamin-plus In health, |
I have a container of these chewable multivitamins that were manufactured in July 2021. lot#022221181. Have they expired, or are they still okay to take? Thanks so much! | I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide some information regarding the shelf life of our supplements. The industry standard for the shelf life of supplements is 2 years from the date of manufacture. If your product was manufactured in July of 2021, it will remain effective and safe for consumption until July of 2023. |
