Gut Nutrients Dr. Lynch product Q&AUpdated 3 hours ago

Hello, I am writing to ask for some guidance. I am almost one year postpartum and really struggling with elimination and overall digestion. Lately, I honestly feel like I have no energy and have terribly sluggish digestion with a lot of gas. I have struggled with mold and suspected SIBO in the past. I am currently taking the Bile Nutrients before meals and a digestive enzyme, and Mag Citrate before bed to help with elimination. I also take a postnatal vitamin, Body Bio PC, Lysine, Vitamin D with K2, and Zinc. I want to start taking this to help with my gut lining and inflammation but have seen a lot of articles advising that Aloe is not breastfeeding safe? I see this product is listed as breastfeeding safe, so I am just curious why there are so many warnings against using aloe while nursing? Thank you! | Hi Emily - I hear you. I'd say we need to focus more on your stool movement before gut lining as a long transit time can be a big factor in leaky gut. Consider:
This should help a lot. All are breastfeeding safe and supportive. In health, |
I suffered with recurring vaginal infections (yeast, bc, CV) for 7 months that was tipped off from misuse of antibiotics due to a misdiagnosed UTI @ 39 weeks pregnant. My main symptoms were bladder/urethra pain and burning. My GI maps test came back several months ago that I had c-diff, strep/staph and hpylori - which were all treated. Along with 98% l cristpatus and low levels of BV. However, I'm still having very manageable vaginal/bladder pain exacerbated by certain foods and times during my cycle. also have Compound heterozygous mthfr C677t and A1298C. Would this help? | Hi Jennifer - The cycle definitely influences the vaginal microbiome. I need to research why this is - Consider:

Hi Dr. Lynch, About 2 years ago I started having loose mushy stools. I got pregnant about 3 months later so doctors dismissed it due to pregnancy. Since having the baby the issue continued, but now with terrible heartburn that I mostly feel in my chest, but radiates to other parts of my body. Sometimes it feels like a papercut or prickly feeling in my abdomen. I started taking Gut Nutrients about a week ago and that seems to be calming things down related to the heartburn, but not sure what else I should do or take related to the loose stools and other symptoms. Would I need to take supplements forever, or will some of this heal with time? Thank you for all of your support. Your products have been game changing for me and I'm so grateful. | Hi Natalia - I'm glad you reached out. I have a few suggestions for you to consider:
I do not foresee you needing to take supplements forever. Often times the gallbladder is aggravated here especially from pregnancy and hormones. So by support a healthy gallbladder, you're going to support healthy digestion.* Here's a great guide on Gallbladder Health I suspect this is the case but I am hypothesizing of course as I don't have testing or a physical exam. Look for changes within 48 hours of starting. If nothing changes within a few days or actually worsens, then stop the Bile Nutrients and talk with a health professional who is great with gut health. I highly respect ElizmaLambert.com - I'd reach out to her. In health, |
Dr. Lynch, I have had gastritis for 2.5 years. I have done all the meds, diets etc. I am currently off of RX for the last 2 years, but I cannot get over the gastritis and struggle to take any supplements or do protocols. I eat whole clean foods and cook everything at home. Yes, it is a pain! I now know I have mold toxicity. I cannot do methylated vitamins, L-glutamine etc. It seems I am sensitive to so many things and now am struggling with histamines. Everything I try to take burns the daylights out of my stomach, even my multivitamin from seeking health. I have several supplements from your line that I cannot take because of my stomach burning. My question is...Is there anything in this product that would be acidic? Should this help with gastritis? I have had no luck so far. Sincerely, Rhonda | Hi Rhonda - Yes, this one is great to support a healthy stomach lining - and it has no L-glutamine.* Consider:

Hi Dr. Lynch, You've been very helpful in recommending supplements for my son and I'm hoping you can help with my 12-year-old daughter. She has been sick for 2 years now with chronic nausea (she started with it after bad stomach bug) which is having an extremely negative impact on her life. She has developed anxiety and was recently treated for SIBO with microbials, which didn't seem to work. She suffers from constipation and needs laxatives daily. Her GI wants to start her on an antibiotic for her SIBO and I'm wondering if you think gut nutrients or Ox bile may also be beneficial? She already takes Saccharomyces Boulardii but is not on any other supplements. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. | Hi E - Glad to hear that your son experienced results. Let's do help your daughter. Have a few things for her to consider:
Start here and let me know how she's doing. We can make some tweaks as needed. In health, |
This help for sluggish gastric emptying or gastroperesis? | Hi Blake - I would use Bile Nutrients 4 capsules before dinner to support healthy movement of bile through your small intestine.* If bile is sluggish, it can put back pressure on your stomach and slow emptying. Additionally, slow gastric emptying may be related to nerve conduction so supporting healthy nerve conduction should be considered.* Consider:

Can this be taken with Histamine Nutrients? And if I have a mild food sensitivity to some citrus, is the citrus fiber okay? Thanks! | Hi Bob - Yes it may. In health, |
Hi, I have lots of food allergies and I am looking to add this to repair my gut. Although I know I have an allergy to dairy, I am currently taking Surthrival Colostrum. Do you recommend taking colostrum with gut nutrients, and should I switch to goat colostrum? Thanks! | Hi Sean - I believe you're correct - switch to goat based colostrum. Hard to find but it exists. I'd also look into TriButyrin supplement. Consider:

Would this supplement be right for me? I have irregular bowel movements and would like something other than a laxative to help regulate my body. I eat fairly well; proteins, fruit, vegetables and I limit refined sugar as well as processed foods. I also drink water and try to get 1/2 my body weight in liquid. I walk 1-2 miles each morning. I am a 59 yr old female and need to know if there is something to help regulate my BMs. I do take complex B vitamins and a D3+K2 supplement daily. I am not taking any medication other than eye drops at night for glaucoma. Thanks for your help | Hi Lorra - I would choose something different. Consider:
This should set you right up within a few days. Stay on these and adjust the amounts as you improve. You likely can reduce the Bile Nutrients and Digestive Enzymes a bit as you improve. In health, |
Thank you very much again. Dr Lynch, would you be so kind to share why to hold off on the histamine nutrients for now? I really thought this may have been an important one to take. I wondered if I'd been having histamine symptoms with foods. Forgive me for asking another question, I do value your time and thank you again so much, truly. | Hi Holly - Focusing on gut health is key first. We want to ensure you have healthy bowel movements. If we lower your histamine levels too much, it can contribute to constipation which would then increase all symptoms. I'm quite confident in my original recommendations. If you like, you may certainly add the Histamine Digest and the Histamine Nutrients so you have them on hand. If we support your healthy gut, then your histamine levels, by default, will lower naturally. In health, |
Thank you, I really appreciate your super fast response Dr Lynch. In relation to the last question; Just to confirm, don't take histamine nutrients now, hold off on them? Leave off on the pro biotic strains too? The glutathione, I can only find your liposomal here in the UK, is that ok? The gut nutrients, are the capsules better for me to take than the powder, or is there no difference? If not could I take the powder option instead? Thanks so much for the lady you referred. I will certainly look her up. | Hi Holly - I'd try without the Histamine Nutrients and hold off on the probiotics as well. The glutathione - you can use the liposomal - that's fine. Take some by mouth, hold for a bit, then swallow. Do this a couple three times a day - as you feel you need. Taking too much can cause headache so we don't want that. Gut Nutrients: I like the capsules to start as the powder has glutamine in it and that can cause issues in some in the early stages. I love the powder because of the added glutamine but it can cause irritability in some especially in the beginning stages of healing. In health, |
Hi Dr Lynch I'm looking at addressing some things with the help of your supplements, being: - chronic fatigue (I'm at 30% energy function) - sore muscles, joints (trapped lactic acid feeling) - exposure to mold (no longer living in it) - gut sensitivies (cannot eat gluten or dairy, I'm bloated after eating, my gut finds it hard to break down certain foods) - irregular bowel movements (only 1 movement a day, constipated stools usually bulky but also have loose stools) - my menstrual cycles are every 35 to 45 days (I'm 34 years old) - I have the MTHFR mutation - deficient in b12, folate and iron - my nervous system is cannot get into the sympathetic, I have poor sleep struggling to stay asleep and getting into deep sleep, waking at any noise -I'm dx with endometriosis, fibromyalgia, m.e, ptsd (from chronic persistent stress, no longer in that stress) - Sensory issues, cannot tolerate noise or bright lights etc - Brain fog - constantly thirsty (I drink 2L a day, not diabetic) - my skin and hair have changed, almost rapid aging I've gotten in my basket right now; bile nutrients, digestive enzymes, histamine nutrients, Homocysteine nutrients, electrolytes, glutathione. I don't know if I need gut nutrients or pro biotic strains. My day is typically waking feeling exhausted and in pain, not being able to focus, overstimulated, blocked nose, difficult bowel movements, bloated, irritability, my daily activity is very limited. My m.e has crashed significantly when I got covid two years ago and moved into a house with mold. And it crashed much further after I moved house (stress). I'm working with a Functional Dr who has rec I get bitters, enzymes and methyl b12. I have your book and have read it. Greatly appreciate your response, thank you. | Hi Holly - I like what you're considering for support. A few things to consider:
I have a few things for you to consider along with some of the things you have:
I would not do probiotics right now. Check back in about a month. You should notice some improvements within a few days. I highly recommend working with Elizma, too. In health, |
Hello, I’m not sure if this supplement would be a good thing for me to try. I’ve been experiencing gut issues like acid reflux, constipation, bloating. I’m very sensitive to things. I also just developed rosacea within the last year and have skin issues. I have tried your histamine probiotic, but I react to it and it makes me feel sick. Would this be some thing good for me to try or do I need to start with something else? Any suggestions would be great. My doctor just recommends PPIs and I know that is not good long term. Thank you | Hi Jessica - I'd first start out with something that supports healthy digestion. Consider:
Do this for a week or so, then consider adding:
Do that in addition for another week, then add in:
Then you can slowly taper off as you feel you can. In health, |
Hi dr. Lunch .. not sure if this would be considered under gut problems, but my naturopath suggested I use Miralax to address my bloating/bile duct back up as per my CT scan. Would you consider Miralax or other over the counters safe and effective for something like that? Would love to hear your thoughts .. or maybe something more natural to the over the counter products. Thanks! | Hi Meghan - I'd consider:

Hello. My son is currently taking your Skin Nutrients, Gallbladder Nutrients, and Fish Oil, plus alternating Probiota X & S. boullardi but not daily because he gets constipated. His skin has improved a lot! However he has been diagnosed with laryngopharyngeal reflux and taking 20mg of Omeprazole since Sept. Do you think we could add this to help with his stomach issues? He also has slightly elevated immunoglobulin A & diagnosed with celiac disease 4 yrs ago. Thank you! | Hi Lisa - Awesome to hear his skin is so much better! :) Yes, great pick. Consider:
Keep me posted. In health, |
Hi! Will this help with low stomach acid and inflammation causing nausea? Thanks! | Hi Jess - Gut Nutrients can help with gut inflammation.* It does not help with low stomach acid directly. Bile Nutrients contain betaine hydrochloride that may help support stomach acid production.* Other things that can help support stomach acid production at meal times include drinking something bitter diluted in water before meals, such as:
Make sure you look into why your stomach acid is low and your gut inflamed. Regards, |
Will Gut Nutrients help with constipation? I am taking binders for mold and am backed up :( Feeling like my GI is a mess of situation. | Hi Frankie - Great question. Binders will do that. Consider:
This should help a lot. In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, I have homozygous C677T. I'm pretty sure I just had Covid (after too much sugar), and am having GI discomfort, mostly occasional stomach pain which is unusual for me. I'm wondering if I should take a gut nutrient. I am taking PQQ and Zinc to get my taste and smell back, which seems to be working gently. Normally I take a mild multivitamin, D3/K2 due to living in the PNW, Mg to avoid leg cramps at night, NAC for detox, Optimal Sleep II, and Stress Nutrients. The Mg capsules at night seem to bother me at times. I have not yet unscrambled the MOA or COMT situations from my 23andmereports, as I seem to cross lines that keep me unable to decide which path to take. Thanks in advance for any input. | Hi Rhonda - You're on point knowing that you got sick because of too much sugar. Great awareness. Consider:
Start here. You may need Histamine Digest to support a healthy gut, too but I suspect you may be doing well with just the above. In health, |
Can Gut Nutrients, Histamine Nutrients, Optimal Magnesium, and phosphatidylserine, Niacin be taken together? | Hi Paul - Yes - all before bed is a good time. In health, |
Needing clarity. I noticed Gut Nutrients has grapefruit. I was told not to take grapefruit if you are hormone sensitive (low estrogen and progesterone), high cholesterol (high LDL particle sizes), and hypothyroid. Is this true? I absolutely love all your products! Recently, I had a colitis flare and was using a DGL supplement from another brand, but it didn’t work well for me. I’m considering making the switch to your DGL product instead. | Hi Lynn - I'm helping out with answering some questions that we are receiving. I'm really glad to hear that you love the Seeking Health products :). Gut Nutrients does contain grapefruit fiber (pectin) which is not the same as grapefruit extract. Whilst grapefruit or grapefruit extract can slow down phase I liver detoxification and affect the processing of certain medications and hormones, grapefruit pectin helps to maintain healthy cholesterol and blood sugar levels, as well as support a healthy gut microbiome by providing food for gut organisms. The grapefruit fiber in Gut Nutrients should not affect hormones or thyroid function. Hope this clarifies it for you :) Regards, |
Hi -- Your products have been a huge help in fixing my sleep and improving my mood. One thing I'd still like to fix is that I often have bloating after dinner. (It's taken to the next level when I have broccoli and/or cauliflower.) I have been taking Gall Bladder Nutrients, 2 before lunch and 2 before dinner. I have not noticed an improvement in the bloating. However, I have started sleeping better. For 3 days, I swapped out the GB nutrients with Digestive Enzymes. I felt way "off" all 3 days. For instance, I would sleep all night but wake up feeling like I didn't sleep at all and in a funk. The bloating may have been a bit relieved; though, it was a small sample size. I stopped the Digestive Enzymes and went back to the GB nutrients and the sleep immediately improved. So... I'm thrilled to be sleeping well, but I'd still like an improvement in the bloating issue. Any chance Gut Nutrients would help? Or is there something else I should consider? Maybe I should first try taking all 4 GB nutrients before dinner? Thanks! | Hi Josh - You nailed it. Yes - take all 4 capsules before dinner. Another customer did the same switch and it helped her a lot more than 2 and 2. We are running low on this product so I recommend buying a couple more bottles to hold you over. Our manufacturer is having a tough time sourcing one ingredient. Keep me posted. In health, |
Can Gut Nutrients be combined with Omega and Liver Nutrients after dinner? Bedtime: Optimal Magnesium, Phosphatidylserine, Ashwagandha, Niacin for sleep and cholesterol. | Hi Krissy - Yep. This is a great combination and great timing. Well done. I would actually make one change. Gut Nutrients: 3 capsules before bed and 3 capsules upon rising to support a healthy gut lining.* In health, |
Hello, I recently submitted a MTHFR question which you answered. However I’m assuming I stop taking your methyl B12 since you recommended the homosisteine supplement? Also I just had my B12 checked & it’s 1800, homocysteine 6.5. For my gut I have 24/7 pressure/slight ache on my lower left side not right. You mentioned taking the gallbladder supplement. Cell vitality very low as well. Thank you for your help as it’s a lot to understand! | Hi Tanya - If your homocysteine is 6.5 umol/L, that's great. Do not take Homocysteine Nutrients or additional B12 or folate right now. It's not needed. For a slight left sided ache, consider:
This combination is supportive of the left sided issue. In health, |
Hello! I have the double MTHFR gene mutation with a significant reduction in folic acid conversion & significantly high homocysteine levels. What supplements do you recommend? I also struggle with my gut, thinking SIBO, and have low brain neurotransmitters. So appreciate suggestions! | Hi Tanya - I recommend these:
Start here. Let's see what improves and then adjust as needed. You may need Gut Nutrients - but you're not ready for that yet. You need to be on the Gallbladder Nutrients for a month first. You may need Ox Bile in addition but I'm thinking the Digestive Enzymes will help you sufficiently without. Let's try this route. In health, |
Dr. Lynch, Recently you recommended Optimal GI and Gallbladder Nutrients for my Barrett’s/no dysplasia I got the GB. You mentioned that the Optimal GI does not have L-Glutamine. What is wrong with L-Glutamine? I thought that was good for esophagus lining? Also will these help heal the Barrett’s. Thank you. Elaine | Hi Elaine - The L Glutamine is great to support a healthy gut and healthy esophageal lining. You could use the Gut Nutrients capsules - no glutamine - before bed - say 3-5 capsules before bed. Then Gut Nutrients powder - with glutamine - in the morning upon waking - and mix 1/2 to 1 serving in a tall glass of water and sip over time - say 20 minutes or more. I like putting it in a liter water bottle and sipping it slowly over time. In health, |
Hello, My 15 year old daughter recently had two rounds of antibiotics in the last 3 months for a stubborn infection. During that whole time I was giving her saccromyces b and I gave her 4 caps a day during the course of the antibiotics. Now she finished it two weeks ago. But I’m continuing the 2 caps of saccromyces a day at bedtime. She never once complained of tummy troubles during the antibiotic treatments. But over this past week post antibiotics she has been feeling a little stomach cramping mild off and on, a little loser bowels but not watery, but still goes once a day, Sorry for the details, but I feel it’s pertinent. Should I scale back on the saccromyces? Also I should mention I gave her gallbladder nutrients two days last week, just help out her digestion. Could that be bothering her stomach? And should I continue the 2 caps or one cap of saccromyces.? And I was thinking of adding gut nutrients to help soothe her gut as well? Especially after the two rounds of antibiotics. We are very grateful for your products. We use the histamine nutrients and histamine digest. It has helped my girls tremendously with their allergies. And I use gallbladder nutrients too and it has helped my digestion a lot. Thank you. | Hi A - Smart that you provided the Saccharomyces boulardii. Well done. Yes, now stop them. Now she needs probiotics now that the antibiotics are finished. Consider:

I bought this supplement. I am on treatment for MCAS and bartonella as well as on ansiolitics. Is this supplement safe to take given my circumstances? My leaky gut is making me almost vomit my normal medication. I wanted to ask first if it’s safe for me to take . Better be safe than sorry. Thank you 🙏 | Hi Paloma - Gut Nutrients is safe for you to take, yes. Consider:

Is this a Biolfilm breaker? If not do have something like that? | Hi Grayce - This is not a biofilm breaker. One has to be careful with breaking biofilms. Gut Nutrients is designed to support a healthy gut lining after you work on supporting a healthy microbiome.* To support a healthy amount of biofilm, research shows that NAC supports this.* Consider:

I bought this with high hopes of repairing my gut issues. Sadly, I have a severe intolerance to sulfur. I can have certain foods in small quantities but if I go over the limit, my gas smells like a rotten eggs me for days. When I purchased Optimal GI, I didn’t even think about the MSM listed in the ingredients. Should have abandon these capsules, or keep trying with Molybdenum. If I take the Histamine Block, I seem to be ok with foods but as you always say, you need to fix the underlying issues as the histamine block is just a bandaid. Thanks Dr Ben! | Hi Jan - I think you're correct. I'd add in Molybdenum as it looks like there isn't enough in here for you. Consider doing these recommendations first for 2 to 3 weeks - then add back in the Gut Nutrients - but do 1/2 a serving and do over an hour. Gallbladder Nutrients: Take 2 capsules before dinner to support healthy bile production and bile flow which is needed for IBS.* I'd start with the Digestive Enzymes, Molybdenum and Gallbladder Nutrients - those three - one at a time - then add in the others. It's quite a bit there but gut health requires a lot of intervention as there's a LOT going on. Then, after doing these things for 2-3 weeks, then add in Optimal GI and start with just a couple capsules before bed. Talk with your doctor about ordering a stool test from Doctors Data: In health, |
hi dr. lynch, i'm taking O GI and ProBiota HistaminX. i tried the Probiota Bifidobacterium but felt it wasn't helping. I have loose stools sometime 4 times a day. after menopause i had alergic reactions to nuts seeds chocolate coffee... i researched and realized my body reacted to foods with high arginine levels not balanced with l-lysine. i was vegetarian for years and i prefer this diet but am now eating healthy meats & dairy. all organic. it seems to have helped but i still don't think i'm absorbing nutrients. my finger nails have ridges and divets. i would love to have solid movements and less visits to the bathroom. I would appreciate some guidance with your supplements toward a healthy digestion and elimination. i'm a fit 63. i look healthy. this may seem strange additional information but i'm a redhead. i know we can have different constitutions. thank you! | Hi Mamie - Great question. Very thorough. A stool test may be warranted to make sure you don't have pathogenic bacteria or something going on there. Please talk with your doctor about ordering a stool test. A naturopathic doctor or functional medicine doctor is a recommended. Perhaps you can call Doctors Data and ask them for a referral for a doctor near you so you can order this test: I'd add in:
These support healthy digestion and healthy absorption of nutrients.* I do recommend the stool test as well. You may start these supplements prior to the stool test if you like. However, for best results, you may want to stop the supplements a few days prior to collecting your sample so you are seeing a true picture without support. In health, |
Hello Dr. Lynch, My teenage son has battled digestive problems for a long time. He has 1 bowel movement daily, but he tells me they are hard dry nuggets. He was on Miralax far too long as a toddler, and I regret listening to the Dr. back then. We have tried working on hydration including adding aloe vera juice, changing diet (low-GI), etc. He tried the Optimal Electrolytes but isn't crazy about the flavor so we got a refund. Sorry! His gastro Dr. just prescribes laxatives. His face is broken out severely in the t-zone plus very oily. He currently takes Vitamin D3/K2, ProbiotaX, S. Boulardii, and Eleuthero. Side note! He also has Celiac Disease (so been strictly gluten free for 4 yrs ) and now he just tested ANA positive, and he has high DHEA-S. Your StrateGene test shows that he has slow DAO, NAT2, MAOA, DBH, SLC18A1, MTNR1B, MTRR, GSTA1, and GCH1. So I am taking time to sort out and understand each component to that. With all that said would the Optimal GI or Gut Nutrients be a good fit for him? Thank you so much!!! You have taught me so much!!! | Hi Lisa - I hear you on the electrolyte. Come back on June 1 and get the latest formulation! He will absolutely love it. I think Orange is my favorite. It tastes and smells amazing. For your son, I would stop using ProBiota HistaminX for now. Get him on Gallbladder Nutrients - 2 capsules before dinner. Start here. If his bowel movements are still not improving, then bump up to the full serving of 4 capsules before dinner. We have Skin Nutrients coming out soon! He will absolutely love this one, too. Sign up to be notified - coming out in about a month. Start here. If he's still struggling with constipation, have him get on Calcium-D-Glucarate to support healthy liver function and healthy bowel movements.* Take 1 capsule after dinner. In health, |
Greetings! I am new to your supplements and trying to figure out what would be best for me. I have started on Optimal GI and ProBiota Bifidobacterium. They have made a huge difference in my health but I am still currently dealing with issues and wondering if something else might also be helpful. I have been dealing with gut issues, constipation & severe histamine reactions causing rosacea after eating most foods. Since using your products for a month there has been a significant positive shift. I am having bowel movements now, every 2 days as opposed to once or twice a week, yet stools are floating and not sinking, (and 'mostly' formed). The histamine has reduced significantly - I have also been on a strict elimination diet. I am down to eating mostly meat (beef, lamb, pork, salmon & shrimp- all from my local pastured farm)- none of these cause any histamine reactions. I can also tolerate blueberries, coconut, cucumbers, cabbage & summer squash, and that is about it! Anything else gives me a reaction. I am curious about your ProBiota HistaminX and your Zinc Carnosine. I am not interested in your Histamine Digest because I want to get to the root of my issues and I have no interest in eating high histamine foods at the moment. Would the ProBiota HistaminX be a better fit than the ProBiota Bifidobacterium? I will continue with the Optimal GI- how long should I take this? I am on this healing journey on my own- I do not have a naturopathic Dr so am making discoveries on my own and would be so grateful for any guidance you may have. Thank you kindly! | Hi Kelly - I'm happy to hear you are improving ;) Let's work on it some more. Here are some suggestions: Gallbladder Nutrients: consider taking 2 capsules before dinner. As you mentioned, you want to have daily bowel movements that are easy to pass, sink and are well formed. Start with 2 capsules before dinner. See how your bowel movements are. If needing more support, either take 2 capsules before lunch and 2 capsules before dinner OR take 4 capsules before dinner. Adjust as needed to maintain healthy bowel movements. I would consider switching it up from ProBiota Bifidobacterium to ProBiota HistaminX. Some more varied strains may be helpful. Before bed, I'd like you to take a capsule of Optimal Magnesium to support healthy bowel movements and healthy sleep. You may need to add our Digestive Enzymes to support healthy digestion and absorption of your nutrients. I'd consider our capsule version as it is more potent. Take it only with your larger meals of the day. Additionally, be sure you are thoroughly chewing your food, do not drink with meals, avoid cold drinks or limit them especially around meals as they stop digestion. In health, |
Just wiped out my gut with an unavoidable round of antibiotics for a staff infection. Is Optimal GI a good supplement to start with? Is there a second gut item to add? | Hi Pam - My first pick would be Saccharomyces Boulardii and second pick would be ProBiota HistaminX. I would combine both of these after dinner. If you are experiencing periodic constipation or heaviness, consider taking 2 capsules of Gallbladder Nutrients before dinner. Optimal GI is a good pick if you feel you need to support a healthy intestinal or healthy stomach lining. In health, |
Does Optimal GI goes well together with Gallbladder nutrients? Is it better to take them together or at different timings, example 2 hours apart? Thanks | Hi Seong - It's best to take Optimal GI between meals ideally upon waking and before bed. It's best to take Gallbladder Nutrients 2 capsules before dinner. If needing more support take 2 capsules of Gallbladder Nutrients before lunch and 2 before dinner. You want your bowel movements to be easy to pass, well formed and sinking. In health, |
Can Optimal GI be taken w/ Gallbladder Nutrients? | Hi Rebecca - Yes, absolutely. It's a great combination. Take Optimal GI upon waking away from food - and before bed. Take Gallbladder Nutrients before lunch and before dinner. If lunch is an issue, then just take before dinner. In health, |
