Why don't you use acerola vitamin C vs ascorbic acid?Updated a month ago
Dr Lynch always weighs benefits, risks and outcomes when selecting ingredients.
Vitamin C from natural foods is still ascorbic acid.
It is not the same as folic acid and folate.
Yes, you can get natural vitamin C from fruits vs ascorbic acid, but it's very expensive and it's also very low amounts.
You can also get natural methylfolate from liver or leafy greens - or you can get methylfolate from Quatrefolic.
The vitamin C from fruits is no doubt the best - as is folate from liver or leafy greens.
However, from a quality standpoint, and successful outcome standpoint, there is no reason to switch from ascorbic acid to acerola or others.
They have very good marketing and a good story.
And, again, Dr. Lynch agrees that natural is best.
But in regards to vitamin C, there is no need to use the vastly more expensive form as there is no difference in the outcome.
Our customers are getting very successful outcomes by using the ascorbic acid in our vitamin C supplements.
If they were not, Dr. Lynch would change it.
