Why doesn't Seeking Health use sodium ascorbate as opposed to ascorbic acid to help convert oxalates into oxalic acid in people who struggle with high oxalates?Updated 4 months ago

According to Dr. Lynch, ascorbates may not be the answer, however, we are working TOWARD some solutions for oxalate-sensitive individuals. Dr Lynch states that:

  • oxalates are less absorbed in an acidic environment
  • buffering more with ascorbates isn't the solution
  • ascorbates will likely convert into acids anyhow due to the acidic environment of the gut

Dr. Lynch's solution to this is to talk to their doctor about using Gallbladder Nutrients, ProBiota HistaminX, and Digestion Intensive to help support normal oxalate response.*
