What is the purpose of each ingredient in Hydroxo B12 with Folinic Acid?Updated 2 months ago

Ingredient

Purpose

Folate

[as 5-formyl-tetrahydrofolate (from calcium folinate)]

Supports methylation processes, cell growth, and DNA synthesis.†

Vitamin B12 (as hydroxocobalamin)

Supports cellular and cognitive health, methylation processes, healthy DNA/RNA synthesis, healthy detoxification pathways, and healthy energy levels.†

  • Hydroxocobalamin

A non-methylated form of B12 that quickly converts to adeno B12 and methyl B12 in the body. It supports healthy energy production and helps the body to utilize folate for methylation processes. Hydroxo B12 also supports the normal detoxification of toxins present in environmental exposures, such as smoke and other pollutants.

  • Folinic Acid (Methyl-free Folate)

A non-methylated form of folate (vitamin B9) that readily converts to methylfolate in the body. Folate supports healthy homocysteine conversion, fertility, fetal development, DNA repair, energy production, cognitive function, methylation processes, and epigenetic expression.
