Ingredient

Purpose

Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid)

Supports healthy DAO production, normal histamine breakdown, and normal inflammatory processes.†

Thiamine (as thiamine hydrochloride)

Often is depleted in presence of high aldehyde and other histamine byproducts.†

Niacin

Plays a role in increasing the activity of the ALDH enzyme family, to support the normal regulation of acetaldehyde concentrations.†

Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate)

Works with DAO to help support the normal breakdown of histamine.†

Pantothenic Acid (as d-calcium pantothenate)

Cofactor for the NAT2 enzyme which metabolizes histamine to acetylhistamine.†

Magnesium (as DiMagnesium Malate§)

Supports normal glutamate response from ammonia release. Ammonia is released from histamine metabolism.†

Zinc (as zinc gluconate)

Cofactor for the ALDH enzyme family.†

Copper (as copper gluconate)

Cofactor for the DAO enzyme.†

Alpha-Ketoglutaric Acid

Supports normal ammonia breakdown, which is created from histamine metabolism.†

SAMe (as disulfate ptoluensulfonate)

Cofactor for the HNMT enzyme which is a major enzyme in histamine breakdown.†

PQQ (as LifePQQTM pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt)

Supports healthy oxidative stress response.†
