What fermentation media are the probiotics grown on?Updated a month ago
The fermentation media/growth media are proprietary.
Its best to note that there is no part of the fermentation medium left in the finished product. The fermentation medium is removed from the probiotic strains via a centrifugal process prior to the strains being freeze dried. The result is the pure probiotic cultures that are free from the media in which they were fermented.
Our probiotics' fermentation media are allergen-free (free of the Big 8 Allergens: Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Egg, Dairy, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soybeans), and the finished product is free of these allergens.
You can find each products Big 8 Allergen information in each product description on the product page.
If you have a specific allergy concern with a certain ProBiota product, we can retrieve that information for you. Email [email protected]
