Why is Optimal Prenatal unsuitable for vegans?
Optimal Prenatal is suitable for vegetarians. The vitamin D is derived from lanolin from sheep’s wool, making this product unsuitable for vegans. This vitamin D, however, is derived from wool sheared from live healthy sheep, so no animals are harmed in the process.
