Why is Optimal Prenatal MF not suitable for vegans?
Optimal Prenatal MF is suitable for vegetarians. The vitamin D (vitamin D as cholecalciferol) is derived from sheep’s wool, making Optimal Prenatal MF unsuitable for some vegans. This vitamin D, however, is derived from wool sheared from live healthy sheep, so no animals are harmed in the process.

Optimal Prenatal MF is gluten-free.
Optimal Prenatal MF does not contain grains. However, this formula contains ascorbyl palmitate and vitamin C from corn. Due to the processes used to manufacture the finished ingredients, the final product is free from corn proteins.

Testing confirms that Optimal Prenatal MF is free from GMO markers.
