Multivitamin One Sensitive Dr. Lynch Q&AUpdated 4 hours ago
Question | Answer |
Piggy-backing off of another one of my questions asking for a recommendation for a multivitamin for my kids and I. We are nutrient deficient after being in and treating mold...I know we're deficient in magnesium so we've been supplementing that along with D3/K2. I am sensitive to methylated vitamins and I'm not sure about my kids, but want to play it safe. You recommended Multi One Sensitive for me, along with Hydro B12 with Folinic Acid and Kids Multi Chewable MF for my kids. They can all swallow pills. If I were to buy one that we can all use would Multi One Sensitive be too strong for them (ages 7, 11, 13) and would you recommend the Hydro B12 with Folinic for them as well? Or if we all do the kids Multi MF, would you recommend anything additional to take with it since it's MF or do you think it's comprehensive enough? Thanks for all of your help and insight! | Hi Jenny - The Kids Chewable Multivitamin MF is quite comprehensive. That could be a good one for all of you. You would simply use less for the younger one and more for the older - and it would also depend on how they feel from it. Some people do well with just 1/2 a chewable after breakfast and some need the full 2 chewables. Starting with just 1/2 a chewable for all of you is a good idea - and make sure it's after breakfast. Additionally, to support healthy mold detoxification, consider:
You all can use these and this amount. I don't think you need additional folate or B12 on top of the multivitamin. In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, I am taking multivitamin sensitive, but I have concerns about the Prop 65 in it, is it exposing me to lead or mercury? I love love your company and glad I found supplements that I can take to help with my methylation and other mutations, thank you Lori | Hi Lori - I hear you. Prop 65 is something else. I appreciate the push to get heavy metals as low as possible - but they don't put this label on food or drinks. So it's not showing you the whole picture - at all. Please review this: We are all exposed to heavy metals from our food, water, products. The key is supporting our detoxification systems and eliminating exposures to the biggest offenders. Our supplements at Seeking Health are very low. We just follow the labeling laws. If I formulate a supplement and I find out it has high levels of metals, and it's quite high, then I don't release it. For example:
It's important to be asking questions like you're doing. Keep it up. The key is knowing where to draw the line - and Prop 65 confuses consumers as the line is way too low - and it's not even applied to food or drink. In health, |
is this safe for a 14 year old teen girl | Hi Jodi - Yes it is. She will only need 1-2 capsules with a protein based breakfast. Start with just 1 capsule after breakfast. Then see how she does. In health, |
Why did they say the new one was without herbs and would be new ,and you went back to same thing ? Now 6 more months ? Really have been waiting and now to have to wait 6 more is sad .. and how do I know next time it want happen again ?The problem is need something that can trust will be here when I need it ,our word is all we have and trust .. I know nobody is perfect but please try to tell the real deal so can make plans .. | Hi Bradley - I hear you. For more accurate information, please ask my customer support team. I didn't realize we had another purchase order in for the current formula ahead of the new one. That's why the delay. It's best to ask them directly as I'm not fully abreast of arrivals of product as that's not my area. Best, |
So you are getting rid of the herbs in the next batch ? I am wondering cause they keep saying they are but keep getting them back .. It’s fine either way but when they say next batch no then it has it .. I am not sure what to do was trying to figure out if you are going to have a product or not if I go with this and like it then you take away the herbs it’s annoying .. I have been told for months it was coming out with no herbs now it’s herbs .. Just would like to know maybe herbs is better maybe it’s not but would like to know what the future looks like on this sensitive product ? | Hi Bradley - Yes we are eliminating the herbs. We are working on making it as well tolerated as possible for as many as possible so that means we need to remove the herbs as some people do not do well with the herbs. Some people will do very well with them - and others wont. In health, |
When is the new formula coming out ? is it in stock yet ? | Hi Bradley - It will be awhile as we just got this lot back in so be about 3 to 6 months I suspect. In health, |
Would it be safe to take this multivitamin as base and then add to it normal niacin (nicotinic acid) product from Seeking Health to get the flush and resulting benefits? I remember I have read some information that combining unmodified nicotinic acid with extended-release formulations may not be safe, but wanted your opinion to double check. Thank you | Hi Luiza - Yes you may. That is fine to do. What you want to look out for and monitor is your liver enzymes. Too much niacin can raise liver enzymes. Using nicotinic acid to flush periodically is likely not going to increase your liver enzymes. If you do find that your liver enzymes are increasing, then you may:

Hi Dr Lynch, I was wondering if its okay to take this multi as well as the electrolyte together? I am also taking a months course of prednisone (steroids) for a asthma flare up and wondered if there's any of your supplements I should avoid (I take a few of them)? Many thanks | Hi Lilly - It is ok to take these together. After your course of Prednisone, I recommend you consider using Adrenal Cortex with breakfast for a few weeks or so to support a healthy recovery from it.* For asthma, consider healthy breathing support:*

This could have been the best multivitamin in my opinion having just good forms and reasonable doses. BUT I have concerns about "B3 as inositol HexaNiacinate" since it has shown to be much more risky in terms of postential liver damage with high doses compared to other B3 formulations. Source: https://www.efsa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/efsa_rep/blobserver_assets/ndatolerableuil.pdf Question: could you please provide break down of B3 content into specific formulations in capsule? How much is "inositol HexaNiacinate" there and what is the exact other formulation mentioned as "niacin"? | Hi Igor - I can't tell you how much niacin is made up of niacin and inositol hexaniacinate since I'm not privy to that level of information. But I'll give it a go in answering some of your concerns :). Inositol HexaNiacinate (IHN) is a no-flush form of niacin or vitamin B3. According to the below source, IHN is a safer alternative to niacin and free of side-effects such as liver toxicity at doses up to 4 grams (4,000 mg). chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://altmedrev.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/v1-3-176.pdf The combined amount of niacin in the Multivitamin Sensitive is only 130 mg per 4 capsules (around 30 mg per capsule) which is well below potential toxicity levels. Niacin is the natural form of vitamin B3 found in foods. Hope this helps :). Regards, |
What are you changing about it? It was perfect. Never able to take a vitamin without nausea? | Hi Teresa - We are removing the herbs mostly. If you are experiencing nausea from taking a multivitamin, then I suspect: Always take a multivitamin with food as an empty stomach or just a bit of food will certainly contribute to nausea. Your digestive powers may be weak. The multivitamin may be too strong and you need less of it. In health, |
When you get the new formulation with no herbs can you send them to me ? Thanks sir | Hi Bradley - We will update the website when it's ready. For quality control reasons, we do not post the new formulations until it is released - to avoid confusion and maintain accuracy. My recommendations to you for combining various supplements will work for now. I agree it's not ideal but it's what we have in stock at the moment. The new formulation will not be released for 6 months or more unfortunately. In health, |
If I take the vitamin d on that one it has 5000 Iu would the new sensitive one coming out have 5000 iu in it ? | Hi Bradley - The new one will have Vitamin D in it - but not 5,000 IU - more likely around 1,000 IU. I honestly don't recall and don't have the formulation at my finger tips. Best, |
Thanks Mr Lynch for answering would those have most of the multivitamins I need what would I be missing from the sensitive ? And what would be extra just dont wanna feel anxeity worrying over this ? After I take multi will worry myself to death .. | Bradley - Good point. If you like, you could add:
Only thing missing now is Vitamin A. We do offer Vitamin A Drops and you could take 1 drop a day or 7 drops once a week as it is fat soluble. Now, with B Minus and Trace Mineral Complex II, and the above, you're having a multivitamin that is designed for sensitive folks. I am looking forward to the new Multivitamin Sensitive coming out, too. In health, |
What is the closes thing that compares to the multi that want be here for 6 months ? Wanted something to use till then .. 6 months is a long time .. | Hi Bradley - B Minus is a B complex without folate or B12 Trace Mineral Complex II is trace minerals without iron and copper. Trace Mineral Complex is trace minerals without iron. No herbs in any of these. Be sure to take these with a meal - not a snack - but a meal. You could take B Minus with breakfast and Trace Mineral Complex (I or II) with dinner. In health, |
Dr .. You said you were going off memory that the herbs are gone now, is that a fact? just wanted to make sure .. the chat specialist did not know ,they didn’t have all the list.. | Hi Bradley - In the Upcoming Lots, yes, that is correct. This lot still has the herbs in it. It will be about 6 months until we have the one without herbs. In health, |
Can you list the ingredients to the new product ? | Hi Bradley - We still have another lot coming in with the existing supplement facts. When the new one arrives, we will update it. Thank you Dr. Lynch |
When will the new multivitamin sensitive be ready ? My body needs some and have been waiting .. Your product is all I trust .. thanks for any help speeding it up it’s been out for a long time .. | Hi Bradley - We had a supply issue with the vitamin E. We have resolved it. My team will know best about stock and inventory times. Please reach out by Chat, Email, Phone. I hear you. It's hard to find a supplement like this one. In health, |
When will the multivitamin sensitive be back in stock ? And what will the changes be ? It’s taken a long time so far .. Hard to depend on something you like when it is constantly out of stock everything and changing ingredients .. Hope the changes are for the best why are the changes better ? | Hi Bradley - Thank you for your patience. There are supply chain issues with sunflower based ingredients due to the war in Ukraine. We have resolved this issue and it's in production now. The changes are more supportive for those who are sensitive: We removed all the herbs and put in vitamin D and vitamin K by popular demand. I am going off memory as it has been so long. In health, |
Yes please bring back! My husband and I both find the doses of B vits in this formula to be better than those in the B Minus. TY! | Hi Mahandi - It's pending! We are working on sourcing some ingredients. Our usual supply ran out. The war in Ukraine is hurting some of the raw material supply chains. In health, |
Is there a time frame for this to return to stock? This is the only vitamin free from B12, which I am highly allergic to. | Hi Sally - It's in process currently. I recommend B Minus. It is free of Folate and B12. You can pair it with Trace Mineral Complex Take both with a full meal such as breakfast or lunch. Do not take with dinner. In health, |
