How do I use Fish Oil?Updated a month ago

Suggested Use

As needed, take one softgel with food any time of the day or night. Use as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Fish oil is one of those foundational supplements.

I take Fish Oil nearly every night after dinner, along with my ProBiota HistaminX.

Do not buy fish oil in liquid form. The oxygen inside the bottle immediately damages it, causing the fats to become rancid. Rancid fish oil is harmful, not helpful.

If you have a young kid or cannot swallow the soft gels, go ahead and pop one of the soft gels of Fish Oil. Put it on a bite of food or onto a spoon. The lemon oil and lipase already help a lot with the taste, so you may not need anything else to make it easy to take by mouth. If you have a picky eater, add a drop or two of maple syrup or honey with the Fish Oil before giving it.

Some nights, I just bite the Fish Oil softgel before I swallow it to coat my mouth with the beneficial EPA and DHA oils. Then I swallow it. It’s not fishy at all. I then chew the softgel like a piece of gum until it’s gone. After all, the softgel is simply made of gelatin.

Quality fish oil should not taste fishy - and this one does not.

Fish oil burps happen because you cannot absorb the fat very well. The added lipase enzyme makes it easy for your body to absorb the beneficial fatty EPA and DHA oils.
