I am trying to purchase some of your supplements, but I am extremely sensitive and need ‘cleaner’ ingredients. A DAO from a non animal source since I react to everything animal related, or B vitamins with no xylitol and flavors, just a pill or something. Can you offer some of your most popular products in a sensitive version, just the bare bones with minimal ingredients? | I hear you. We have a lot of clean supplements for many different areas of the body. Our capsules and powders are without xylitol. If one is extremely sensitive, it tells me that your gallbladder and stomach need some healthy support. Consider:

Is this ok to take if you have epilepsy? I read that people with epilepsy shouldn’t take Benadryl or Zyrtec. Histamine nutrients similar? | Very good question. It looks like histamine is indeed associated with helping control seizures. If one has low histamine in the brain, then they are more prone to seizures. Antihistamines function differently than nutrients which support healthy histamine metabolism. Antihistamines block histamine from binding to histamine receptors and have no effect on histamine metabolism. Histamine Nutrients has no effect on preventing histamine from binding to receptors. Nor does it cross the blood brain barrier. Thus, I believe Histamine Nutrients is safe to use for those with epilepsy especially in cases where one has signs of elevated histamine as Histamine Nutrients supports healthy histamine levels.* I am a neurologist so I could be missing other factors to look into. That said, I did find this statement from another doctor: In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, My 7 year old son has had enlarged tonsils for years. He struggles with snoring so we do think they are affecting his sleep. Could Histamine nutrients benefit him and possibly help with the enlarged tonsils? Are there any other supplements or lifestyle changes you would recommend? | I highly recommend getting a food sensitivity test done like this one I'd also do a stool test that they have as well. These two things are huge and much needed. High histamine is associated with enlarged tonsils - which is likely coming from food, drink and possible infections. I also don't believe that removing tonsils solves the problem. Addressing the underlying causes in ways I've suggested above is way better. For supplements, consider:

Sorry, cannot edit my first question, but want to add she is also taking Optimal Electrolytes first thing in the morning and in the afternoon (been taking for years, but switched to your brand a few weeks ago) and also Fish Oil. | Great. The added creatine for her is very important. I'd have her drink 2-3 servings a day of Optimal Electrolyte and likely even add more creatine to it. Say add another 1 gram of creatine per glass. That will give her 2 grams of creatine each serving. Creatine will support her healthy mood, immune system and weight.* Adjust to bowel tolerance - don't want her having loose stools. In health, |
My teenage daughter is taking the Histamine Nutrients, Histamine Digest, Pro Biota HistaminX, and HistamineX. She started taking them two weeks ago. They are a miracle combo. She always had a very heavy flow with intense debilitating pain, but for the first time she had a light period with NO pain. But still seems to be very allergic to everything. stuffy nose, itchy eyes, ezcema, etc. How long will it take for those symptoms to lessen? Should I increase any of these? Concern for giving too much or too late at night (without food) as gets nausea easily from things like zinc. 5'3, 85lbs, so very thin. Does gentle daily exercise, but never intense. She also takes your Optimal Magnesium, CoQ10, Vitd/MK7 and looking to add Brain Nutrients and Stress support soon. History - born with serious allergies to foods and environment, has an epipen. Positive ANA (1:80), but no specific autoimmune (yet). Urine leaks protein (15) and leukocytes (70+). Has eczema, frequent nose bleeds, insomnia, body pains in all limbs, and migraines with aura the last two weeks of every cycle. Very early puberty. Extensive imagining, ultrasounds, bloodwork. All normal besides above. Always ate organic, filtered water, and avoid allergy foods. Family positive for scleroderma and hashimotos with thyroid, lung, and breast cancer and insulin dependent diabetes. | Awesome to hear! Thank you for sharing that success. I recommend working with ElizmaLambert.com so you can get deeper. There is some underlying factors going on -
Elizma will help you uncover it. Meanwhile, also look into the Histamine Workbook and work through that: I would not increase the supplements she's on. I would consider adding:

Hi Dr. Lynch, I was recently diagnosed with Burning Mouth Syndrome (I’m 48 but still have regular cycles and am very active), it came on out of nowhere. However, I had recently had a lot of fascia massage sessions that left a lot of bruising on my legs and in researching this, I may have stirred up a histamine response that is now leading to BMS. Do you think this may help to calm my system back down and hopefully reverse the BMS? Obviously the oral pathologist did not think they were connected but I’m not convinced yet. | Burning mouth syndrome is usually secondary or tertiary to something else underlying.

Hi there. I was wondering if you recommend this supplement and or anything else. I can get to sleep just fine but I tend to wake up early at like 3am or so and can usually not get back to sleep. I don't wake up in a panic or anything. I have pretty good bedtime rules etc. I also get tension headaches every second day and I can not figure out why. I also feel stress more on these days and they make my face muscles tense up. Maybe its from not the best sleep. The sleep feels light and I don't usually have dreams. I also feel the cold more than a typical person would in winter time. It's been going on for 7 years or more so it would be great to figure out why etc. I have seen many naturopaths with not much progress. Thanks very much. | Glad you asked. This is not the right supplement for you. Consider:
Give this a go and report back. You should be good to go. In health, |
I am pretty sure I have histamine issues with food. When I eat high histamine foods I get nasal congestion & pressure only at night between hours of 12-6. This is my major symptom. I may also get some digestive issues with bowel movements & sweating. What supplements do you suggest starting on? I purchased the State Gene. Once this is done, is there someone who can help me navigate what to do next? Thank you, | I believe a few things would work well for you. Consider the Histamine Bundle as it is more comprehensive, saves you money and comes with a very helpful Histamine Workbook. Here's the Histamine Bundle: Here's how to use it: If you're not wanting the bundle, then the two supplements I highly recommend are:

I am compound heterozygous for MTHFR C677T and A1298C, have a history of autoimmunity, and am currently being evaluated for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). After three years of trying to conceive with a diagnosis of unexplained secondary infertility, I finally became pregnant—just one month after beginning a combination of HistaminX, daily baby aspirin post-ovulation, Xyzal, and Pepcid. I’m now taking Optimal Prenatal MF, OmegaAvail by Designs for Health, and continuing the antihistamines mentioned above. I would like to keep supporting my histamine response during pregnancy but have read that HistaminX may not be safe during this time. Would Histamine Nutrients be a safer alternative to continue during pregnancy? Given how long it took to conceive, I want to be extremely cautious with any supplements I take now. Thank you so much for your time and all the work you do. | Congratulations! :) Thank you for checking in. Yes, stop using HistaminX and switch to:
This additional support will be great for you. I highly recommend reading Lily Nichols book, Real Food for Pregnancy. In health, |
Hi! I’m curious if this can help with EBV flares. Since having Covid, I think I keep having EBV flares where my neck hurts, slight sore throat at night, and just feel fatigued. I had mono in high school. I can get it to subside somewhat but it keeps coming back. I noticed it came back during ovulation this month, so I’m wondering if histamine support would be helpful. I am also taking monolauren, lysine, fish oil, olive leaf, optimal prenatal MF (pulsing but thinking I may need the full dose now?), and generally supporting my immune system, but I think I’m missing something. I also noticed that it has come more frequently since I stopped homocysteine nutrients but my homocysteine was a 5.6 in November and I was still taking the prenatal (so I’m not sure if my body still needs something in that). I use preworkout nutrients 3-4x a week or so if I’m lifting weights. Im 41. The only SNP I know I have is being compound heterozygous for mthfr, but I know this may or may not be helpful. However, when it flares, I also notice I lose more hair and I don’t want it to keep happening! I would say it’s happened 3x since the fall, but this is the first time I connected it to my cycle. Would histamine nutrients be a smart move or maybe something else? I know you have mentioned acetylcholine in optimal focus for long covid so maybe that might help too? Thank you for your help! | I hear you. A few things to consider:
I don't really want to give you histamine support right now because the histamine supports a healthy immune response - and you need that right now. In health, |
Can I take Histamine Nutrients while undergoing immunotherapy (allergy shots) for my seasonal allergies? | I would say yes - and I'd also say talk with your doctor and inform them that you're doing this. Histamine Nutrients supports the healthy breakdown of full body histamine.* Additionally, consider:

Dr. Lynch, I am a 20-year-old female. The past 5 months, I have had persistent hives, anxiety, and brain fog that seem to get worse leading up to my cycle. So I believe my hormones play a role. This is not the first time I have experienced this. About 4 years ago, I was getting hives very badly. At the time, I ate very healthily, primarily organic, and tried to limit my toxic load. I saw a functional medicine specialist (Evan Brand) who found I had Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Candida, SIBO, and high levels of mold in my system. In addition, my mother has compound heterozygous MTHFR with 1298 and 677 T. I eradicated the mold and used vitamins and natural medicine to heal, but they have returned, and I can't seem to get rid of them. I was in a moldy apartment this past school year, which most likely played a role, because I was fine the year before. I am in the process of doing a mytoxoxin urine test with a functional medicine practitioner, so hopefully we will find some information from that. I got the flu in January, with horrible hives, and went on a round of Prednisone antibiotics for that, which is when the hives started up again, as well as a 3-day water fast, which was the turning point of when they started. Could this play a role in the persistent hives? I am now eating a low histamine diet. I am taking Histamine Nutrients, Glutathione Plus, and have just started taking your Methyl B12 with L-Methylfolate lozenges, Vitamin C powder, and electrolytes. I also supplement HistaminX and Probio HistaminX as needed. This seems to subside the hives slightly, but the hives get worse when I sleep. Is there anything additional that you recommend that would help? | I'm glad to hear you're working with a health professional. Detoxing from mold and supporting your immune system is key. You're more reactive at night likely because that's when cortisol is at its lowest naturally. A few things to consider which may be supportive:

What is the shelf life? In my recent order, the bottle shows the "Made on" date but not the expiration date | We have Made On when the product is undergoing stability testing. Supplements are typically good for 3 years from the Made On date. The container we use for Histamine Nutrients is also a very special one as it reduces humidity exceptionally well. Once we have lab verified stability testing completed, you will see an EXP date. In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, For the past two years I have had trouble sleeping through the night. Wake up between 1-3 ish am and can’t get back to sleep or if I do it’s after a few hours and the sleep is restless and wake up not feeling rested. I don’t experience any other histamine symptoms during the day, only the night waking. The reason I think it could be histamine related is because if I try to avoid some high histamine foods and take an antihistamine like Zyrtec before bed I usually can get back to sleep quickly. Could this be histamine and what could I take to help without having to rely on antihistamines? Thank you. | There are many factors at play here:

Does this current formulation still contain the flushing sort of niacin? What form am I looking for? I'd prefer not to flush | If taking Histamine Nutrients with food, the likelihood of flushing is very low. It currently does have the flushing form of niacin. The flushing typically occurs only when niacin is taken without food. In health, |
Hope someone can answer this. I really do not understand how this is any different from Histamine BLOCK (aka now DIGEST) or Histaminix (which I am confused how that one is different from Probiota Histaminix). Can someone explain? I get that they should be used together but how are they different. Right now I use Histamine Digest and Probiota Histaminix. |
Probiota HistaminX contains probiotics that support lower histamine levels in the gut. The combination of Probiota HistaminX and Histamine Digest that you are taking supports healthy gut histamine levels. If you had systemic histamine symptoms such as skin rashes or breathing difficulties, then you would want to add Histamine Nutrients in as well.† Hope this helps :) |
Hi Dr Lynch! I have a question about over vs under methylation - I am a 43 year old woman, 5'6", 105lbs. I stay active with daily walking, rebounding and pilates. I have dealt with chronic pain and chronic fatigue along with sjogren's syndrome and ehlers danlos for 20 years. Also, adrenal issues with very low stress tolerance and OCD tendencies and addictive/perfectionist personality. I know I have multiple complicated SNPS and it's so difficult to figure this out on my own (hard time finding a doctor to help). Some of which include : -many variants in the HMNT, ACAT1-02 heterozygous with 9 other ACAT variants, SOD 2&3 homozygous, DHFR homozygous, MTHFR A1298C heterozygous, SHMT2 heterozygous, MTR Homo, MTRR homo, PEMT Homozygous, BHMT-08 Homo, AHCY-01 hetero, AHCY-19 hetero, CBS C699T hetero, MAOA , COMT 3 variants, BH4 8 variants, NOS 10 variants Sorry for all that, just trying to give you enough information for my question. So - When I eat a high raw vegan diet my muscular and joint pain diminishes greatly, I feel stronger and more stamina when I workout. However, I get very foggy brained and trouble concentrating or focusing and even difficulty with memory and communicating clearly. But I get regular 28 day periods and sleep well. THEN when I eat animal protein, I feel better with my focus; like I can communicate and focus on reading and can retain what I read. I don't feel like I'm floating in a fog. BUT I get ruminating thoughts that drive me crazy all day, either songs or fears/worries and I can't fall asleep and then I wake up at 3am with my brain on hyperdrive very over stimulated. I get jumpy and panic feeling with slight noises and shortness of breath and heart flutters too. It's like my body gets stuck in fight or flight mode. My pain also returns with achy and popping joints and muscle spasms. I feel weaker in my workouts and my menstrual cycle shortens to 24 days and very light only lasting 2-3 days. I tend to get really crazy anxiety with choline and fish oil. I don't know what's going on. This gene stuff is very overwhelming to figure out. I know it's very complicated and you can't give a lot of medical advice but I'm wondering if this has something to do with methylation...or hormonal related to the COMT? I take your methyl free b complex but can the meat and greek yogurt and organ complex be over methylating? If so, any advice? I'm highly sensitive to supplements but thought about your histamine nutrients for sleep?? Thank you so much and I really appreciate any thoughts you can share. I respect you and your time. | Well detailed question. Based on what you shared, I suspect it has to do mostly with what you're feeding your microbiome and what you microbiome consists of. I'd consider:
Let's start here. I suspect your gallbladder and bile need support as well but I don't think you're ready for Bile Nutrients yet as it has choline and glycine in it. In health, |
Can I take more than two capsules per day? I am taking two capsules after dinner (along with one capsule of Probiota HistaminX) and it seems to help my itchy scalp and skin. | Yes you may. I also find that it works well before bed to support healthy onset of sleep.* Consider getting a chlorine shower filter as well. Chlorine damages the skin. You can get it on Amazon or Home Depot. Plus, take 1-2 capsules of Fish Oil after dinner to support healthy skin. In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, I am currently taking DAO from beef but I really want this supplement since it has other nutrients that are important for histamine breakdown. Due to religious reasons, I can't have anything from pig. Is there any possibility in the future you can make this supplement without DAO from porcine kidney? Or is there another supplement you would recommend I take with the DAO from beef? My genetic testing shows slow DAO, slow ALDH, and fast MAOA. | DAO from beef? Is it actually standardized and proven to contain DAO? I've not seen that. Please reach out to my customer support team and let them know what you're taking. From my experience, claims of DAO enzyme in a beef supplement are infinitesimal at best. Histamine Nutrients uses DAO from porcine as it's standardized and proven to be containing actual DAO enzyme in consistent amounts. I recommend these for your consideration:
These two should be a supportive addition for you. In health, |
Dr. Lynch, my 18yr son has been struggling with alopecia areata for over a year, and now JAK inhibitors have been recommended. I am desperately trying to find any other options! Yesterday I binged your feed, the Q&A on your website, and even watched your seminar from years back. Now my mind is in analysis paralysis and I have a hundred tabs open in my phone😆 His homocysteine is 11.4; on his end he did everything you recommended for the lab work except drink a glass of water(he did have a few sips) and not sure if the lab spun or froze. His ferritin is 32 but his hemoglobin, hematocrit and BUN are slightly over high, borderline low Vitamin.D. I was pursuing the trail of MTHFR/b vitamins, but then watched your reels about acne and histamine. He does have acne, and growing up he would frequently get hives with a cold. Now I have no idea what to address first, and would be so grateful if you would be able to guide me. Thank you! | I hear you. It's easy to get analysis overload. Whenever that happens, I have a solution for you. Fundamentals.

Dr. Lynch, I’ve been on Zoloft the past 3 years for extreme anxiety(tapering down now) but my histamine intolerance is out of control now. Wanting to purchase the bundle pack but Can I take any of these being on Zoloft? | Yes you may use these while also taking Zoloft. Zoloft is a SSRI which supports serotonin staying longer in your brain. I designed Serotonin Nutrients which supports healthy serotonin levels in your brain.* As you work with your prescribing doctor to taper off Zoloft, you can talk with them about introducing Serotonin Nutrients to support healthy serotonin levels.* This guide on Histamine Intolerance is very thorough and helpful: I do recommend the Histamine Bundle if you really need to support healthy histamine levels deeply.* In health, |
A family member is having symptoms that all point to histamine/mast cell issues to me - hives, red skin after exercise, anxiety, cycle issues (heavy, frequent bleeding, suspect endometriosis), etc. Would this be a good starting point or should she be pairing it with other of the histamine supplements? | You're on point. I suspect you're correct. One thing to add is these also point to potentially higher levels of estrogen. High estrogen levels stimulate histamine production and histamine release which magnify the histamine issues. Thus, supporting healthy estrogen levels is very important. Here's some reading for you about histamine intolerance - and please share with your family member: Some things to consider:
This is a more comprehensive approach. She can start with just one or two supplements if desired. Adding the others provides an important foundational approach to healthy histamine levels. If needing just one or two:

I had ACL reconstructed surgery 4 weeks ago. I started experiencing rashes/hives during week 3. I’ve never had an allergic reaction before. I took Claritin and that took away the rashes/hives but had a side effect so I stopped taking it. I purchased your Histamine probiotic so far only took one so far. I’m not sure what protocol I should be doing. As I mentioned I’ve never experienced this before. I’ve had surgeries in the past and no problems. My surgeon said it’s either an allergic reaction to my environment or medication. Can you provide any recommendations? | Glad you're out of surgery. My question is what medications are you currently using? Pain killers, antibiotics and anesthesia are very hard on the liver. Medications that are hard on the liver can lead up to allergic reactions. If you're no longer on the medications, I'd ask your doctor what medications you were given during surgery and during recovery. Consider:

Hi - looking to see if Histamine nutrients can help me. I’ve been congested since I got pregnant with my second, who is now 18 months. It basically just hasn’t gone away. It can make it hard for me to catch my breath some days and this year I have had a lot more sinus infections/sickness. I used to just have spring allergies but this year it’s been all year long. If I pull any clothes out of a closet that haven’t been worn in a few months, I have a sneezing/allergy attack, not normal. I’ve been gluten free for a few months and have tried to reduce high histamine foods per the book. We have been down the mold in our house/elimination journey and it’s been removed or we have none. I Have always gotten huge welts with mosquito bites. I already take a probiotic as well. Help! :) I also have brain fog most days. Also, my 18 mo gets massive welt from mosquito bites, anything I can do for him? Thanks! | I hear you. That doesn't sound fun. I'm glad you sussed out the mold -that's big. Consider:
Let's start here. Make sure you're not using any scented detergents, soaps, house cleaners, etc in your home as these trigger histamine. You should notice improvement within a couple days. In health, |
I have ME/CFS, Ranauds, Pyrolle (copper toxicity) dbl vision. No Gallbladder. I have been following you for quite some time and you led me to consider the histamine side of things. Current labs are showing high histamine levels. I see this product contains copper, so not something I should take. I take Zinc, B6 P5P to combat the copper toxicity. What other products could you recommend to help with histamine and inflammation (without copper) I have been following AIP diet for 6 years (so no gluten, dairy +) I react to all the FODMAP foods still (cruciferous veggies, onion, garlic etc) and have not been able to heal my gut. I Suffer from constipation. I don't seem to detox well. DIM, NAC gave me headaches. Thank you for any help. | I'd focus first on your gut health as that's where a lot of histamine originates from. Consider:
You should experience an improvement in healthy bowel movements within 48 hours. In health, |
Dr Lynch, I have been struggling with histamine intolerance for awhile now. My symptoms are tingling in my arms, flush and itchiness around my eyes. This happen when I eat/drink and when I spend time out doors. I have been in FL or a year now so my body is acclimating. I am starting a low histamine diet. I also suspect I have a fungal issue as I have a red patch under my eye, upper lip and raised circle on the side of my breast. These areas get itchy after I exercise, am outside or sometimes after the food I eat. I also have alway struggled with constipation. I have started taking Histamine Nutrients in the morning to off set any symptoms I may encounter throughout the day as I prefer this over zrytec. I tried glutamine powder for gut health but it actually increased my histamine symptoms or at least the tingling and anxiety feeling. Could you give me some more product suggestions so I can overcome histamine intolerance, especially to food? I am concerned that taking too many histamine products might increase my constipation. Thanks! | Great detail - that's helpful. You're correct in being concerned about taking too many histamine supportive supplements and possibly increase constipation. Histamine is needed to support healthy bowel movements. Constipation is mostly associated with too much Histamine Digest and too much ProBiota HistaminX - not too much Histamine Nutrients or HistaminX. Consider:

So sorry should have mentioned gut inflammation is from leaky gut! Also my husband has post nasal drip after he eats and bad allergies during the fall time, would this be good for him too? Thanks Dr! | Post nasal drip after eating is associated with foods that are triggering his immune system in a negative way. He needs to figure out what those foods are and either eliminate them or greatly reduce them. I cannot eat avocado, lime, cow dairy or gluten. Those are my offenders. I avoid them 100%. I used the US Biotek IgG food allergy test to figure it out. For your husband, also consider:
This should help him a ton. He may need the Histamine Nutrients as well before bed. If so, then I'd look into the Histamine Bundle as you'll get all 4 of the healthy histamine supportive supplements and save 20% vs buying them separately. It also comes with the very valuable Histamine Workbook. In health, |
Hi there! Experiencing anxiousness specifically when eating meals (fast heart rate, dizziness, out of breath) and started to research what's going on! I do have gut inflammation. I noticed my stomach burns anytime I drink orange juice, and I randomly get eczema and itchy spots all over my body. Would this be the right fit for me? And can I take this with Optimal Prenatal MF (can't tolerate methyl)? Thank you! | What you're experiencing is a high histamine response to foods and drinks you're consuming. This happened to me for decades until I finally figured it out. Life changing ;) Consider:
You may take all of these with your prenatal vitamin ;) In health, |
Hello, Would histamine blocker help with Interstitial cystitis/bladder? And what one would you recommend? Thank you! | Impressed! Most health professionals have no idea that IC is associated with high histamine. Here's some things to consider:
I recommend you get the Histamine Bundle - this way you get all the healthy histamine support products at 20% savings along with the free and very valuable Histamine Workbook You could just use the Histamine Digest with meals but it won't address the underlying issues. Nor would using all the histamine products. We need to support a healthy bladder lining - and the Gut Nutrients will support a healthy bladder lining as will the ProBiota HistaminX.* I'd also like to see you adding in 1 capsule after dinner. Avoid high histamine foods and drinks as well during this time. You'll likely be able to add them back in after a month in stages. Keep me posted. This should help you significantly. In health, |
Hello Dr Lynch: After eating the histamine nutrients supplement either before or after lunch I have burning in my month or burning in my tummy its not substantial but I am trying to pin point the reason of the burning is it the alpha glutaric acid? Thanks so much for your guidance. Best regards, Lisha | I'm assuming you're taking it with the capsule and not opening it? If opening it, the SAMe and AKG can burn for sure - and the DAO. Consider:
Your gut lining may be a bit sensitive so taking the Gut Nutrients before bed should help provide a healthy lining.* One should not experience burning from Histamine Nutrients so it tells me we need to support your gut health a bit. In health, |
Hello, my daughter was diagnosed with oral allergy syndrome. We were basically told to eliminate all triggering foods and take antihistamines daily—problem is all raw fruit is triggering an itchy throat. I’m not satisfied with that answer. Would this be useful in her situation— she is 4. Thanks! | I hear you. That's not a good answer. Here are some things to consider:

Hello! Just ordered the Histamine nutrients as well as the methyl B12 with L-methyl folate. Is it recommended and safe to take both or just one of these at a time? Thank you! | Histamine Nutrients do not contain methyl B12 or L-methyl folate, so you won't be double dosing. However, I would suggest you first start with one supplement, take for 3 days, then add the other one in. If you get a reaction (good or bad) you'll have a better idea of which one may be responsible.
Hope this helps :) |
Hi there, you previously answered my question about what to take to help relieve my postpartum hives. I am taking the following that you suggested: Histamine Bundle: Histamine Nutrients: 2 capsules before bed or any time of day HistaminX: 2 capsules upon waking ProBiota HistaminX: 1 capsule after dinner Histamine Digest: 1 capsule with meals that contain the most histamine. Additionally, I have been taking Fish Oil: 1 capsule after dinner, Gallbladder Nutrients: 2 to 4 capsules before dinner, and Optimal Electrolyte: 1 to 3 servings a day. What do you suggest I take long-term? | How are they working for you? As you improve, you can start reducing the amount you're taking and possibly stop some of them altogether. As you do this, you'll find which ones you can stop and which ones you cannot. I'd say most likely you'd reduce the Gallbladder Nutrients to a few nights a week and 2 capsules at a time - but it's hard to say as everyone is different. In health, |
Hi Dr Lynch, I struggled long after my first bout with Covid with debilitating headaches and all kinds of bizarre issues. Things got better after working with a functional doc for a long time, but after my 2nd bout (about year and half ago) I started getting dermatographism out of nowhere, my feet, arms, elbows, armpits etc. Would esp start when hot or during exercise or my blood flowing. Never a raised rash but just appears in the craziest shapes, randomly! It’ll be red, hot and really itch, then go away. I feel like it’s getting worse and starting to really affect my life. I believe it to be post covid MCAS bc never have had anything like this in my life. Any help or insight so appreciated with recommendations on products and protocol (since I take so many). Hi Dr. Ben, I have been suffering with itchy underarms for the last 5 years, I have had 3 babies during that time and the itching goes away during pregnancy. However, when I was 6 weeks postpartum with my last baby I got a horribly itchy rash on my hands and feet (looked like fluid built up in pockets under ny skin) I would itch it with no relief and only a steroid helped to take this away. Then the underarm itching started again, it has spread down my inner arm and I now get itchy in my forearm elbow folds, behind my knees, my ears get itchy, my chest, etc. in addition, I have horrible insomnia and have struggled with constipation almost my entire life (I am 34 years old). I get heart palpitations occasionally (1-2xs/weeek) and have major brain fog. My nails have gotten brittle and my hair and skin super dry. The underarm itching wakes me up at night and drives me insane. I don’t use any products on that area and have not for a while. I have also been gluten, dairy and soy free for a few years now. I started taking quercetin as a supplement which seemed to help initially, but after 3 weeks, things are right back to where they were. Any help with supplements would be so appreciated! Thank you! | I think what you may have is a response to bile being absorbed. Bile can really cause itching so what we need to consider is supporting a healthy liver, healthy gallbladder and getting your bowel movements going. I believe this will really help. Consider:

I have a 15-year-old son who has been diagnosed by an allergist with an auto reactive IGG and auto reactive IGE. Is the histamine X and histamine nutrients correct for this or according to the allergist that we have seen? This is not powerful enough for that to stop the degranulaion. Will this be enough ? Or is xolair and Zyrtec the only options? Thank you, Debbie | I'd get the Histamine Bundle for your son. Consider:

She’s now pregnant and wants off Zyrtec. Dr said her hive condition will last 7 years?? | I've no idea how a doctor would know how long someone's hives would last - that's very odd. There are way too many variables to know that. A few things to consider for your DIL:
This will be very supportive for her. Congratulations on her pregnancy :) In health, |
Hi Dr Lynch, Most nights my skin will flare up and I'll get very tiny whiteheads that show up on my face. Also, my throat and inside my left ear will get very itchy as if I'm having an allergic reaction but can't pinpoint it to anything specific. I can also feel that the tops of my ears get warm and inflamed. I haven't had my histamine levels tested but I was wondering could this be a histamine reaction? If so, which histamine supplement would work best to help with this? | That's definitely a histamine reaction and high histamine also contributes to acne. I'd consider:
That's a more comprehensive plan which approaches things from all angles - which is way more effective and lasting. You could just use the Histamine Digest with meals and it would solve likely your issue - but it would not address any underlying causes. If not addressing underlying causes, the problems get deeper and harder to resolve. I prefer helping you feel great and not just good. ;) In health, |
Hello, I have eczema prone skin and in the sun my skin suffers from prickly heat, redness and gets very hot easily burning sensations. I am going on holiday next week., please can you advise what supplement I can take. Also I have histamine issues too. | Smart to plan ahead. I would get the Histamine Bundle. Here's why:
Here it is: I also recommend the Travel Support Bundle How to use it the Histamine Bundle - the instructions are on the product page - but to summarize for you:
The Travel Bundle is key for other reasons:

My postpartum hives are getting worse, I’ve had them since I gave birth to my son. I’m so itchy and uncomfortable. The docs think my body is “allergic” to my own hormone; prolactin. Any suggestions!? And my infant who is breastfeeding has an itchy eczema on his face. I wonder if it’s related. Which products might be best for us? | Sorry to hear this. I'd consider a full approach to supporting healthy histamine levels.* Consider the Histamine Bundle:
Additionally:
Prolactin is also pro-inflammatory which does increase histamine levels. By you using these supplements, baby's histamine levels will be supported via your breastmilk having healthier levels of histamine, hydration and fish oil. In health, |
Would this supplement or one of your others help with the itchy mouth associated with oral allergy syndrome? And if so, how would you recommend taking it? Everyday or just prior to eating fresh fruits and veggies? Wait for a reaction and then take? | A few things going on here. Oral allergy may be chemical induced. Be sure you are eating foods that are not triggering you here. The father of environmental medicine discovered he reacted to apples - but not just any apple. He figured out it was non organic apples he was reacting to - due to the chemical sprays. The organic apples he could eat just fine. Read about the Dirty Dozen and the Clean Fifteen by the Environmental Working Group. These are the most toxic fruits and veggies: In terms of supplements, consider:

Hi, I recently started a new job and in the learning process I have been doing a lot of scrolling on my computer which has been making me motion sick (cybersick?). I happened to have some Histamine Block Plus on hand that I bought for my husband a while back. I have been taking it, and it seems to help when I remember to take it before I start my work day. My HBP is running low and I’m wondering if there is a different supplement that might be more appropriate for motion/cybersickness. Thank you! | The Histamine Nutrients supplement is the same as Histamine Block Plus. If Histamine Block Plus worked for you, then Histamine Nutrients should also work for you. Regards, |
Hello, Would Histamine Nutrients be helpful for a severe case of Dyshidrotic Eczema that is extremely itchy? Benadryl seemed to help with the itchiness, but I do not want to take it long term as my memory is bad enough as is. Thanks so much! | If Benadryl is helping, then the expectation is that Histamine Nutrients would help as well, but in a more productive way. I would suggest that you try the Histamine Nutrients at 1 capsule morning and night, but you can try it up to 6 capsules per day. If you do well with high doses, then you may want to look at taking Histamine Digest 1 capsule with meals. Let us know how you go :) Regards, |
Hello. I have severe allergies, with extremely bad postnasal drip. I know… TMI. However, I am wondering if I can take two histamine nutrients in the morning and two histamine nutrients in the evening? I feel like it helps me, but it does not last long enough for me. I will literally have to take it every day. Thank you so much. | Nothing is TMI when talking with a doctor :) You're correct. Histamine Nutrients does a great job at supporting healthy histamine levels but if the histamine keeps being made, it gets overwhelmed.* Consider:

I was wondering if i am currently on a protocol for Methane Sibo..would any of the histamine products help with either killing or keeping it away for the future? | SIBO is not killed by supporting healthy histamine levels. SIBO is controlled by supporting healthy digestive power via stomach acid, digestive enzymes, bile acids and serotonin levels. Consider:
Start here. This should help significantly. If additional support is needed, consider adding in Serotonin Nutrients at 1 capsule with breakfast. In health, |
I'm confused as to which of your 3 histamine products to get. I've been struggling with hives since July. I typically have a runny nose and I can't stop sneezing today. I also have asthma, get ringing in my ears from time to time and my face gets beet red when I exercise. I am also wondering if there is anything that would help my husband with gout? He gets it real bad. He also has MS (not bad), psoriasis, chronic acid reflux, and is on medication for high blood pressure. | For you, consider:

Hi Dr.Lynch, I have a 10 1/2 yr daughter who is struggling with her allergies now that has been back to school for a month. They always flare up more when she goes back to school. And I know she has some food sensitivities to gluten and dairy like me. Which we are mostly gluten and dairy free in our house but have occasional treats. I already give her histamine digest which helps a lot. I have been giving her histamine nutrients sometimes before school only one cap too. Should I give her two caps? she has a lot of post nasal drip right now which worsens at night. We sometimes use Flonase for kids very occasionally to help with post nasal but haven’t used it yet, trying to avoid it. Looking for extra support to help her clear the post nasal drip. Will the histamine nutrients help with that if given the right amount? Is there a certain time of day to take it that is best? How many a day can be taken in conjunction with the histamine digest? Can they be taken at the same time? Thank you! | Back to school is a tough time especially when it comes to food and pathogen exposures. Consider:
To save, look into the Histamine Bundle as it is the above supplements at a significant discount. Ideally, she stays gluten and dairy free. Have treats but make them gluten and dairy free. There are many options out there for this and this is a huge help. Keep me posted. In health, |
I have lupus and inflamation. I also have issues with my histamine. I am currently taking 3,000 mg of vitamin C a day , 3000 mg of omega 3, 50 mg of zinc, 10,000 IU bit D, 200 mg selenium, 100 mg vit K, 400 mg magnesium a day. I have a normal to high level of B/12 so I don't take any B. I am wondering if I should continue my daily vitamin intake while taking this product? My current vitamin supplement has been helping a lot but I know there is more I should be doing as far as my histamine issues. My lupus is currently in remission. I don't eat sugar, processed foods or high histamine foods. I still have mid level inflamation per my recent blood testing. Any insight would be greatly apperciated! Thank you! | If your current protocol is helping you, keep it going. Then, consider:

15yo daughter has had hyperhidrosis of her hands and feet since about age 3, since starting her period which was early onset at age 9, she gets really bad menstrual cramps. I’m starting to wonder if the hyperhidrosis is due to mast cell activation but also if histamine is an issue, that could also be behind her bad menstrual cramps. Would you recommend this product to try for both her issues? Thank you! | Hyperhidrosis is typically due to high histamine and also higher mental stress. The menstrual cramps can also be related to high histamine. Consider:

Hi! I am seeking some advice for my daughter. She is 11 years old. She has what seems to be eczema that comes and goes on her hands - on her knuckles and the inside of her wrist. We have done a gut test for her and treated candida (it was elevated but not by a lot). Her nose is always stuffy in the morning (or feels that way even though she doesn’t blow much of anything out). When she lays down at night it seems to get stuffy again. She seems to have a sniffling tic at this point and sniffles so many times a day I can’t even count. I try to gently remind her to breathe so she is doing a little better with that. She says her ears pop yet when we take her to get looked at, there is nothing to be seen. We run an air purifier in the bedroom. Our house was built 3 years ago (thinking about mold or lack there of). She plays tennis and usually a day or two after a match or a long practice she gets a headache. She drinks your electrolyte on those days (as well as most days for hydration). She regularly complains of neck pain and sometimes says her eyes hurt. Just lately she got a headache that was really bad and threw up for the first time because of it so I’m wondering about hormones/migraines. She is the only one of my 3 who didn’t have a tongue tie release so I’m curious if this might play a role but also what nutrients she may be missing for such tight muscles and pain. We try yoga at night, ancient minerals magnesium flake baths, massage, etc. Would love to prevent these headaches for her! She also has a difficult time falling asleep at night. We see a naturopath as well as a homeopathic doctor and have had her bloodwork run but nothing seems alarming. Last cold season she seemed to be sick back to back with colds more than usual so we tried some trace minerals and olive leaf which seemed to help then but she isn’t taking that now. Another thing about her is that she has had many cavities despite working diligently on oral care (which is what prompted the gut test- since then doing a bit better). She also does get geographic tongue at times. She is short in stature, thin, appears healthy, and as sweet as can be. ◡̈ we do not do any jabs if that matters, try to eat as clean as possible, (she usually tells me if her plate is colorful enough lol), and she eats gluten sparingly as we are a no gluten household. She currently takes your kids MF multivitamin (1 in the am with breakfast), optimal electrolyte, and fish oil. I also give her 1/2 of your probiotica histiminX a few times a week. Maybe she needs more? I have given histamine nutrients at times but not consistently as I’m unsure really how much to give. I’m hesitant with glutothione because I’m scared to make a headache come by accident but maybe this is something she needs. Now that I think of it, she complains of a small headache starting and her eyes hurting in department stores… so maybe that is something I should try more consistently? How much would you begin with? We have your lozenges! In addition, I have watched your histamine webinar and have learned a lot so I have all of those products (among many others!) but I feel stuck, want a new plan, and just don’t know where to turn next. I would love to be able to help her. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you so much. | I recommend a consult with ElizmaLambert.com I agree that there is likely an environmental component here:
I do recommend she use the Glutathione Plus Lozenges - and 1/2 a lozenge upon waking and likely another 1/2 a lozenge as needed - for example after her tennis or after exposures in a store. Before bed, I would use the Histamine Nutrients - 1-2 capsules. I highly recommend going fully gluten-free, cow dairy free and eating only organic fruits and vegetables or at least avoiding the dirty dozen. In health, |
Hello, I have an 11yo who has had swollen tonsils (and occasional lymph) for the past 4 months since a HMPV sickness. We cannot get them to go down and they do not hurt unless the lymph flare. I have done histamine digest and Probiota histamine for the last month (on top of his regular 1 cap each of optimal focus, stress nutrients, and dopamine nutrients he regularly takes and some occasional brain nutrients - ADHD). It hasn’t changed his tonsils but he has been sleeping and pooping better. Should I add this? Or switch to this? Already gluten free for life and have been dairy free with no change in tonsils. | We need to get blood flow and increase circulation in his throat area. Consider:

Hello - hoping for some guidance on a few things. I started having (noticing) Histamine issues a couple of months ago. I was training for a half marathon and got a viral infection. I'm not sure if the viral infection triggered extra histamine release or the training (or both). Saw another question/answer about adding pre-workout nutrients to avoid histamine buildup during workouts. I think I will give that a try as I do get red faced and feel sore longer than I'd like. I have been taking Histamine Nutrients & Histamine Digest. I don't feel I have allergy type symptoms, but I do have swollen turbinates. Wondering if HistamineX would help with this. I also have had low Potassium that I can't seem to get up. (3 HTMAs over 2 years and despite taking electrolytes it has been the same or actually gone down.) I switched to your optimal electrolytes a month and a half ago and hoping that helps. but I'm wondering if the really low potassium is playing a role in histamine issues too - my nervous system seems agitated. | It's common getting this after an infection. My son (4.5yo, 35lbs) has sleep apnea, and breathes through his mouth on the regular. We started him on a children’s d-hist jr. supplement which helped a lot and led me to researching histamine intolerance and a dirty DAO pathway. We’re planning on getting him tested but in the meantime, curious to see if this helps more than just the other supplement for his sleeping/breathing. How much is recommended for his age/size? Any other recommendations? Thanks so much! | Glad to hear that histamine support is helping him. A few things:

Why does this contain Vit C as Absorbic Acid? A lot of information about synthethic vit C and it not being a good idea to take it in the form of absorbic acid as its only small component of the vitamin C complex found in nature and usually derived from GMO corn. Any options without or plans to make it without? | Vitamin C supports healthy histamine stabilization. Vitamin C as ascorbic acid is very effective. We use non GMO corn. In health, |
What age range or is there a weight requirement ? Need support for a toddler with activated mast cells and hives. | Instead of this, I'd consider:
Additionally, look into what they are eating and drinking and consider making some adjustments. Things like citrus juices are very high histamine, gluten and cow dairy can all be very problematic. In health, |
Would you suggest Histamine Nutrients or Histamine Digest for motion sickness/sea sickness? Should it be taken prior to a boat tour/car ride for prevention in someone who feels prone to getting sick and if so how long in advance? Can it be taken with dramamine/bonine/motion sickness patches? Thank you! | Honestly, I'd do both. It sucks to be seasick. I'd do them right before getting on the boat. If the boat ride is long - say many hours, then I'd take another one part way through. Seasickness has to do with high levels of histamine in the blood and these supplements support healthy levels of histamine.* I'd also support with Optimal Electrolyte and sip this while on the boat. You can combine with dramamine if needed but I do not think it is needed. I'd also avoid eating or drinking high histamine foods and drinks before getting on the boat or while on it. In health, |
Hello Dr. Lynch I’ve been dealing with intense hives since April and have tried everything. Steroid shots provide relief for only a day or two before the hives return with a vengeance. Antihistamines haven’t helped at all. I bought your histamine bundle and have been taking all of them for about two weeks. It seemed to work for a few days, but now the hives are back and I am so extremely itchy. I’m gluten-free and following a low-histamine diet mostly animal base . I also have actino in my blood and on my skin. I’m under the care of a functional medicine doctor, who believes the actino is the cause and doesn’t seem to know what to do. I’ve been out of the environment for a while. Is there something different you would suggest I take. I’m 22 years old and was very healthy before all of this started. | I'm not sure about the actino but if it's an issue consider Penicillin G and work with your doctor on that. I'd also look into supporting bile production and flow as bile acids in the blood can lead to full body itching. Consider:

Hello, Longtime allergy sufferer here. I took one pill of histamine nutrients on one day and one pill of histamine digest on another day and they both really helped clear my nasal congestion but I also felt over stimulated, like the feeling of drinking too much caffeine. This feeling lasted all day and I had a hard time getting to sleep on the first night. I really liked what it did for my sinuses because it cleared my congestion and also my brain fog but the jittery feeling was too much. I have Gilbert’s syndrome and I’m just wondering if maybe the liver is having a harder time eliminating one of the ingredients since the energy lasted all day and through the night (more so with histamine nutrients). Histamine nutrients was taken with breakfast and then digest was taken the following day at night on an empty stomach. I have a pet, grass, pollen allergy and we have a dog so my histamine intolerance has been an issue for a long time. Id like to know if the overstimulation feeling will fade with continue usage? I really want this to work since it’s allowing me to breathe through my nose again. Thanks, Ben | Cool name ;) That's interesting. Usually when people support healthy histamine levels, they may feel more relaxed not more jittery. It may be the SAMe in the Histamine Nutrients. Some people are more sensitive to methyl donors and SAMe is one. Let's try this:
Keep me posted. This should help quite a bit. If it doesn't work, then may need to switch from Histamine Nutrients to HistaminX and take 2 capsules of this in the morning upon waking - away from food. In health, |

Wondering if you think this would be helpful for my 22 year old daughter. She has been living with extremely high levels of Actino and has been diagnosed with CIRS. she is under the care of a functional medicine doctor, her condition seems to be worsening. She has been out of exposure for two months, she continues to experience severe hives, particularly overnight. She goes to bed with minimal symptoms but wakes up with a full-blown attack. Steroids sometimes provide brief relief, but often exacerbate the issue. there are mornings when she wakes up with her lips severely swollen and her eyes swollen shut. This reaction has been going on for 4 months. Her current treatment includes various supplements and Welchol as a binder, but there has been no significant improvement. Also with to an allergist and he just has her on antihistamines. If you could let me know if this or any of your other supplements would help? | Yes, it's a good idea to use Histamine Nutrients as needed to support her overall healthy histamine levels.* In her situation, I'd consider the Histamine Bundle as it is the most comprehensive support. 7 weeks postpartum. Breastfeeding. Currently taking prenatal essentials methyl free as I’m sensitive to methyl donors. Having trouble with histamine (hives, red eyes, bladder pain) terrible time falling asleep takes over an hour sometimes more, slight liver pain (slight elevation in liver enzymes just postpartum they were fine the whole pregnancy) loose stools but not floating, some nausea when eating fatty foods. Cortisol levels also feel high from stress of a newborn Tried taking TUDCA a few times but each time had terrible anxiety and insomnia when taking it I’m homozygous for COMT V158M, I do not have a mutation with MTHFR, I am heterozygous for MTRR A66G, MAT1A D18777A, CBS C699T, BHMT G742A, and GMNT C1289T Recent blood work for methylation showed low glutathione, homocysteine at 3, low methyl donors and methyl group metabolites except SAH. Looking to support liver and boost methylation gently as I’m sensitive to anything intense Would it make sense to combine histamine nutrients, prenatal essentials, histamine digest, histaminx, probiota histaminx, liver nutrients and gallbladder nutrients as well as optimal electrolyte for hydration during breastfeeding don’t want to overdo it but also really need the support | Congratulations on your little one ;) I know it's tough these first months as you're trying to recover while at the same time breastfeeding. My wife struggled with all three of our boys as she breastfed each of them. I believe the high histamine symptoms are coming from multiple areas as a consequence: high stress, low sleep, low glutathione, liver and gallbladder issues so let's support those and see if we can resolve the histamine issues this way. Some considerations for you:

Hi there. I have just received my first order, and note with concern that the Histamine Nutrients have 7mg - 412% of the daily requirement. Can you advise why it is necessary to include any B6 in this formula, given that it is available in a normal healthy Mediterranean type diet, and a healthy bowel can make B6, but evidently more than 10mg per day can lead to peripheral neuropathy and other health issues? I am now unsure if it is safe for me. Thankyou. | The connection between B6 and peripheral neuropathy is an association - not a causation. B6 supports the DAO enzyme to perform and that's a very important enzyme for histamine metabolism. The DV % is extremely inaccurate for many nutrients and is incredibly low for optimal health for many nutrients. We've been offering supplements for well over a decade for over 350,000 customers. Can I take this while breastfeeding? | Absolutely. All histamine supportive supplements may be taken during breastfeeding. I also highly recommend Optimal PC during breastfeeding as it supports extremely healthy choline levels for your little one. Healthy PC levels during breastfeeding supports healthy brain development and cognitive ability for life.* Additionally, Optimal PC supports healthy breastmilk flow so milk ducts don't get clogged.* In health, |
Hello, I would like to know if histamine nutrients can help with dizziness, I notice when I eat a lot of high histamine foods and experience itchy throat and sneezing I tend to feel my balance is off and get a little dizzy and that can last for awhile. I used to take antihistamines and they would help with the dizziness. But I’m trying a more natural way to help by trying the histamine nutrients. I took a half of capsule in my water. Because I’m sensitive and wanted to take a small amount to try it out first. I felt a surge of energy and a little warm afterwards, is that normal? Can it help with my dizziness/ motion sensitivity? Thanks | I recommend you use the Histamine Digest with meals. That's going to be more effective in your case. Additionally, I'd add in ProBiota HistaminX after dinner to support a healthy histamine level in your microbiome.* The warmth you felt from the Histamine Nutrients is coming from the niacin - that's called a niacin flush - and is totally normal response. That response typically goes away after taking it a few times. You are correct that high histamine is associated with dizziness and motion sensitivity. I'd consider taking the Histamine Digest with meals, Histamine Nutrients before bed with a little bit of food and ProBiota HistaminX after dinner. You may want the Histamine Bundle as it's a great savings and comes with the Histamine Workbook which will help you identify WHY you are high histamine and work on lowering it without needing supplements. I was looking at some of your histamine supplements and I’m not sure if they can help me or not. I break out in hives from my waist to me knees when I do certain types of exercise. Running, walking fast, jump rope, high impact aerobics, etc. Elliptical, rowing, swimming, other low impact exercises don’t bother me. If I take an antihistamine several hours before high impact exercise, I won’t break out in hives. Any ideas why this might happen and if any of your supplements can help? I hate taking antihistamines just to workout. I have Celiac disease, therefore gluten free. Eat healthy overall. Giving up dairy didn’t make a difference. Although I limit dairy to mainly aged cheeses and regular butter on occasion. My husband has severe allergies to just about everything and is on antihistamines year round. My son (12) has a few seasonal allergies to grass and trees. If they can help all of us, that’s even better. Thank you in advance for any suggestions. | I highly recommend Pre-Workout Nutrients. Sip this before exercising: This supports healthy methylation and homocysteine levels along with healthy sustained energy levels while training.* Exercise increases homocysteine and high levels of homocysteine increases histamine release. Taking the Pre-Workout Nutrients is the best approach here. You'll love the changes. For your husband and kids - and you - here's what I recommend:

Hello! I am a nutritional therapist working in London and advised a cilent who suffers with chronic severe eczema to start taking your Histamine Nutrients supplement given she had seen improvements whilst on a low-histamine diet. However, soon after starting the supplement she had two quite severe flare ups two days in a row. She has now stopped the supplement and her skin is calming down, but I am wondering if this could be a reaction to the supplement and if you have seen this before / would you know why? I am debating whether or not to ask her to try it again in a couple of weeks time once her skin is less sore. Look forward to hearing from you, Anna | My thought is did she take it with some food? Did she take it without food and experience a Niacin Flush? A Niacin Flush: People with high histamine can be sensitive to niacin especially the first few times they take it. We like this form of niacin the best but it can be a bit alarming at first. In time, they should no longer flush from the niacin. You're right in providing her Histamine Nutrients to support her healthy skin.* I'd also consider using Gallbladder Nutrients before dinner - 2 capsules before dinner - to support healthy bile production and bile flow - which are usually poor in those with eczema.* After dinner, consider giving 1 capsule of ProBiota HistaminX to support a healthy histamine level in her microbiome.* Applying vitamin D, A and zinc topically to her skin may help as well. In health, |
hi... i've recently learned about histamine intolerance and am helping my 9yo daughter get better. we do a low histamine diet which has helped wonders. I have been using Histamine Nutrients and have now purchased Histamine Block + ProBiota I'm looking for some guidance on how much and what time of day to dose. Would appreciate and advice. thank you | I'm glad to hear she's doing better with a low histamine diet. You use the histamine supplements based on need. I highly recommend the Histamine Workbook as it's very thorough and helpful Here's some guidance on the histamine support supplements: Histamine Nutrients: supports overall healthy histamine levels and can be used any time of day or night if high histamine is experienced.* HistaminX: this supports healthy histamine stability. This means it supports histamine inside the cell vs getting out and causing symptoms.* Can use this any time of day or night. I often recommend stacking this with Histamine Nutrients during the day during higher needs of seasonal support. ProBiota HistaminX: this is best taken after dinner to support healthy histamine levels in the microbiome.* Take this essentially every night. If constipation is happening, perhaps histamine levels have gotten too low and pause use for a bit. Resume as needed. I take this about 4 nights a week and have been for many years. Histamine Digest: take 1 capsule with meals to support healthy histamine levels especially if these meals or drinks are higher in histamine - or you are not sure if they are.* Additionally, I'd support your daughter with some foundational things because histamine is a response to an imbalance so we want to find and address the imbalances not just keep giving histamine support. Here are some foundational pieces: Glutathione Plus Lozenges: consider 1/2 a lozenge in the morning. This is awesome to use upon waking. Give it a go for yourself as well. It's awesome. I just took one this morning and my boys do it daily as well. Optimal Electrolyte: have her sip 1/2 a scoop in a glass of filtered water or a full scoop in her water bottle that she sips over many hours. It's absolutely essential for everyone to be hydrated. All flavors are awesome. These can also be made into popsicles. Kids Multivitamin Chewable MF: with breakfast, she can take 1/2 a chewable to start to see how she feels. This is a pretty powerful little vitamin so it's best to start low and with a protein based breakfast. She takes the multivitamin only on days where she feels she needs some additional energy or support. If she feels great or in a good mood, she can take significantly less or skip it. These should help your daughter immensely. I recommend you try the fundamental supplements as well so you, too, are supported. ;) In health, |
Hi, I would like to know if histamine nutrients would be suitable for a 7 (nearly 8) year old child who has autism, adhd, pandas and suspected MCAS and POTS. We are waiting the see the specialist but aren't for a few months. We are limited with practitioners available in Australia. She feels awful after everything she eats and drinks and more so after playing sports. | Yes, that's a good supplement to consider as histamine levels are often elevated in these situations and Histamine Nutrients supports healthy histamine levels.* I'd also add in:

Can histamine nutrients be taken while taking optimal iron? I notice they each have zinc and copper in them and wondered if it’s best to treat anemia with the iron and later visit the histamine issues | Yes you may combine them. I recommend using Optimal Iron after dinner and Histamine Nutrients any time of day as needed - and many also prefer using it before bed to support healthy onset of sleep.* In health, |

Thanks! | Yes - I'd use this for you along with Histamine Digest. You are transferring the histamine through your breastmilk so by you taking Histamine Nutrients and Histamine Digest, you are supporting healthy histamine levels.* You may also want to add in ProBiota HistaminX as well to support a healthy histamine level in your microbiome.* In health, |
Hello!, I bought this supplement to help me out with allergies, I’ve had an extreme allergic response for almost a year, I always been allergic since childhood but this last year it flared up , my eyes were super dry , red, puffy , inflamed and the doctor thought it was chronic dry eye. After going back and forth they told me it was allergies, but no medicine could cure it. I’ve had nosebleeds for 8 months , it’s the first time I saw allergies in my eyes and nose. I started taking this supplement and now i don’t have dry eyes, they dont hurt or itch or get red, also the nosebleed improved . The thing is I just had my period and my allergies flared up again (irregular periods and PMS) I’m reading your book for the second time, and think I might have slow COMT , MTHFR and fast MAO, I cleaned up my diet, I’m on week three, I ordered a DNA testing kit so I can confirm. So, I woke up feeling great and later on I took a shower and my eyes started to hurt really bad, I sneeze a lot and had anxiety during the shower, after that it got worse the next couple of hours: full blown anxiety and nausea. I saw the shower head and has green formations , could it be mold? I notice every time I shower I feel anxiety. I took extra dose of this supplement to help me with the pain in the eyelids after the shower( it worked!) , but anxiety and nausea was hard to calm down (I am on anxiety and depression pills). I noticed that the supplement has SAMe, is it safe for me to keep taking if I might have a slow COMT ? I bought your Optimal Multivitamin Chewable too, took it for 1 day but I had anxiety and insomnia so I stoped taking it, I think maybe I don’t react well to folate and methylated B12. - If the thing in my shower head is mold, is there a supplement I can take to help me out detox of it? - Is histamine nutrient safe for me ? (because of the SAMe interacting with slow COMT) - I took Optimal Gluthatione plus and had anxiety, I was able to calm down faster with electrolytes, can I take it again? Or should I try another supplement? (it worked yesterday after being exposed to cooking oil smoke that irritated my eyes, i actually was able to sleep the full night and wake up feeling happy and with energy) - do you recommend another vitamin supplement that is not methylated? - I’m taking the ProBiota HistamineX (I have IBS) and it’s working but I am concerned about the quercetin in HistamineX (slow COMT) that maybe my COMT has too much load with my high estrogens and the quercetin might make it worse? - I bought the Liver Nutrients and Calcium D-Glucarate but haven’t started taking them because I’m afraid it might be too much for my body to handle, should I wait to take them? My DNA test results take about 6 weeks so I can see the results and send it to StrateGene, but I’ve been so chronically sick for the last year that I decided to try supplements while I wait for the results, I’m eating healthy , reading your book again and taking notes. I can’t find a practitioner in my small town (oilfield town in the middle of nowhere) that could guide me, so thought I could ask you about the supplements I’m taking , I don’t want to take too much at once and then make it worse. I see this pattern : the higher my allergies the more anxiety (the medicine doesn’t cut it) I have, and my IBS flares. And days with less allergies I don’t have so much anxiety and my gut is happy, and my depression disappears. | Very thorough - thank you for that. I would definitely address the shower situation. Hire someone to come in and tear it all out and rebuild it. Look for leaks, dry it out and treat the mold. There is likely a lot of mold BEHIND the walls and under the floor that you do not see. SAMe can support a Slow COMT along with magnesium. I'd use:

Hi, my daughters fit the description for someone needing this supplement! I was wondering is there a Kosher version of this product (non-pork)? | I would use the combination of HistaminX and ProBiota HistaminX. Use HistaminX upon waking up in the morning and possibly again in the afternoon or evening if needed. Take without food. This supports healthy histamine stabilization.* Take ProBiota HistaminX after dinner to support a healthy histamine level in the microbiome.* Customers are also finding that Optimal Electrolyte supports healthy histamine levels.* Have your daughter drink 1 serving of Optimal Electrolyte upon waking in the morning and again later in the day if she needs it. In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, I'm wondering if this product or HistaminX would be best for my 2 year old? We are working on healing the root cause which seems to be parasites, but he cannot have many high histamine foods like cheddar, gelatin, sunflower, honeydew, fish/shellfish, etc. We're working on increasing electrolytes and magnesium as he is always dehydrated and constipated despite increasing fluids and adding in Saccharomyces Boulardii and kids multi. Cutting out many of these foods has drastically eliminated sinus and ear congestion for him, so we know we're on the right track but want to help support his system as best we can. Thank you! | Those foods may not be right for him currently. Perhaps it's best to keep avoiding them for now. Possibly, the Histamine Digest, use 1/2 capsule mixed in a bite of applesauce, may help support a healthy calm in his intestines a bit.* But too much of this can also constipate. Some times kids, often actually, do not go to the bathroom when they feel the urge. Make it a game for him. And make it routine. Teach him that as soon as he feels he needs to go poop, that it's a sign that the extra food needs to get pushed out or it can get stuck in there making him not feel good. I don't think another supplement right now is needed. If any, I'd consider the Liposomal Vitamin C Plus. In health, |
I have the histamine nutrients and was going to try this out for a road trip for car sickness. Do I need to start talking that a few days before my trip? Also, my 6 year old daughter gets very motion sick as well. Is it safe to give to her? If so, how much and is it okay to open the capsule and put into applesauce or something like that? | You may use it a day or two ahead of your road trip - and also before you get in the car by about 20 minutes. Note that if you take too much, you may experience sleepiness. High histamine you feel anxiousness and insomnia - and car sickness. Your daughter may take a capsule of Histamine Nutrients - the whole one. I also recommend using ProBiota HistaminX. Take 1 capsule after dinner - and do this essentially every night. You can take periodic breaks from ProBiota HistaminX but it's something that should be used long term - say 3 weeks on and 1 week off. In health, |
One last question. Can I take these along with the Optimal Prenatal? I noticed some of the ingredients are the same. Want to make sure I’m not getting too much of any one thing (Zinc & copper, for example). If not, could I take a different brand of just SAMe safely during pregnancy (Along with the Optional Prenatal)? Since I can’t get just SAMe from Seeking Health anymore? Trying to figure out the best solution/combo. Thanks! | Good points. Find SAMe by a reputable brand like Life Extension or Xymogen. In health, |
just wondering. I currently take 400mg of SAMe a day to help with anxiety as I am an undermethylator. The Histamine Nutrients only has 259mg of the histamine blend which contains SAMe, so I’m not sure how much SAMe that would be. How much would you recommend I take to replace the amount of SAMe I am currently taking? Dr. Lynch recommended this instead of SAMe since the Seeking Health SAMe was discontinued. I am also planning to be pregnant in the next couple months. | The Histamine Nutrients may be sufficient in terms of achieving the outcomes you are looking for. Taking a lot of one nutrient is different than taking a little of many nutrients. I'd give 2 capsules of Histamine Nutrients a go - and it is safe to use during pregnancy. Keep me posted - and you may reply to this question here or ask a new one. In health, |
Hello Dr. Lynch, I already ordered the histamine nutrients and the liver support too but it takes time to arrive to Colombia. Can I use high dosis of vitamin C - intravenous to help with the inflammation produced by hystaminosis? Do you think the myodesopsias are related with hystaminosis? I feel it every time and foto phobia too | I'm not sure if this will work - possibly. Talk with my support team to see if we can ship you your items via USPS Priority International. USPS First Class International is problematic and very slow. We may also have a new distributor closer to you in Mexico. My team will know. In health, |
Hello, I am on a mild mold/candida detox. It is causing my skin to feel like pins and needles. My eyes have little cuts around them and itch terribly and the skin around my mouth itches. I have been taking Histamine Nutrients, Histaminx and Histamine digest. At first I get mild relief from the itching but my skin still feels like pins and needles. This morning I took 1/2 Glutithione plus lozenge and the other half about an hour later as I still felt groggy. I tool PPQ before exercise. My symptoms increased after exercise so I took more of all 3 histamine products. I then took 1/2 glutithione plus as my head felt heavy. The pins and needles are still there and my head aches possibly from the glutithione. I am not sure how to use the histamine supplements to help my body during this detox. I am on a liver supplement. I am constipated so I wonder if I do not need histamine anymore? What should I take to stop the pins/needles, itching? Thank you for any insight!! | You are definitely applying the products properly - well done. You can get headaches from too much glutathione - so be careful there. I would stop the Glutathione Plus Lozenge for now and switch to Brain Nutrients Lozenge. Take 1/4 to 1/2 lozenge in the morning. I suspect you have some type of B vitamin deficiency - like B12, thiamine, folate. Brain Nutrients has all three of these in well tolerated and very active forms. Histamine Digest can contribute to constipation - so you're correct that you should reduce intake on that. I like that you are experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn't. That's very useful. I'd reduce the frequency of the histamine products - and add more liver support. Gallbladder Nutrients - 2 capsules before lunch and 2 before dinner to support healthy bile production and bile flow. Calcium-D-Glucarate - 1 capsule after dinner to support your liver's main detoxification pathway - glucoronidation. Both of these will support healthy bowel movements, too. I suspect you have a fast phase 1 detoxification - too fast. And a slow phase 2 and phase 3. A sauna may be useful as well. In health, |
Hi Does dr lynch know which histamine product to take for someone with double MTHFR snp, who has had their colon removed due to Crohn’s disease My sister has excessive histamine symptoms/ dog allergy/ seasonal allergies/ wine allergy As she is without a colon and has a stoma bag please advise on which histamine product would be best Thank you Sarah Motley | I suggest the Histamine Bundle as it is most comprehensive and the biggest savings when buying a variety of histamine supportive supplements.* Here's how she would use the Histamine Bundle:
I recommend she try going gluten-free and cow dairy-free as well. In health, |
Hi! I'm in the middle of what looks most likely to be a lupus diagnosis (positive ANA & rashes/joint aches), and have been dealing with itching rashes. I have an upcoming appointment with Rheumatology and I'm trying to be prepared. I've noticed taking the Histamine Nutrients makes a huge difference not only for my itching, but also giving me a feeling of calmness (huge help with anxiety)! Do you have any idea why histamine nutrients would also help me feel less anxious? I love Seeking health products, by the way! Thank you. | That's great you are feeling better with Histamine Nutrients. ;) High histamine is an excitatory neurotransmitter. It is known to trigger other excitatory neurotransmitters in your brain as well. So by supporting healthy histamine levels in your blood, and brain, you are supporting a more calm feeling.* For itching, this may be associated with gallbladder or bile issues. Consider supporting healthy bile production and bile flow with Gallbladder Nutrients.* Take 2 capsules before dinner. Start here. If needing more support, consider either 2 capsules before lunch and 2 more before dinner or take all 4 before dinner. Also, upon waking, look into Glutathione Plus Lozenges to support a healthy immune response. Start with 1/2 a lozenge for a couple days and then try 1 full lozenge after that. Do daily. Talk with your doctor about low dose naltrexone as well. If you have not gone gluten-free and cow dairy-free, I highly highly recommend it. In health, |
Would this be the right place to start for an autistic kiddo with Candida and high oxalates? We’ve been working an ND on the Candida but understand that with high oxalates comes high histamine? He does get red ears often after eating and recently has a week of hives from a viral infection. His diet is clean, DF, GF, anti inflammatory etc. He’s very sensitive to any changes in inflammation. Heterozygous MTHFR and COMT. Thank you very much. | I would actually start with Gallbladder Nutrients. High oxalates, high histamine, yeast etc are associated with a tired digestive system that needs support - specifically, more stomach acid and more bile production and bile flow. I'd consider 1-2 capsules of Gallbladder Nutrients before dinner to support healthy bile production and bile flow.* I'd also consider ProBiota HistaminX after dinner to support a microbiome that is associated with healthy histamine levels.* Additionally to ProBiota HistaminX to support a healthy microbiome, I'd add in a capsule of Saccharomyces Boulardii.* This is a beneficial yeast that is not appreciated by candida. If he has trouble falling asleep at night, that may be associated with high histamine. If this is the case, consider 1-2 capsules of Histamine Nutrients before bed to support healthy onset of sleep and healthy histamine levels.* If he is struggling from recurring viral infections, his immune system needs support. Consider Immune Intensive only when you notice he is needing healthy immune support - otherwise do not use it. It is very potent and designed to be used only during times of need.* In health, |
Hi Dr. Lynch, I completed in-depth genetic tests through Genova and MethylGenetic Nutrition Analysis and are homozygous for HNMT, but have sufficient genes for DAO. Feel great on antihistamine drugs for a few days, but then side effects. I also have the CBS mutation so I must be careful with ammonia-causing supplements and foods. My question is why there is not a specific supplement for individuals who only have the HNMT mutation and not the DAO? For most of us with the rs11558538 variant which increases allergies to environmental conditions, we cannot ingest Histamine Intolerance supplements which contain porcine extract. Will you be looking at formulating a supplement for individuals with this condition? Thank you. Christina | You can supplement with DAO. I'm not sure what you are referring to but whatever the source, the information is incorrect. You don't supplement based on SNPs. You supplement based on the functional needs of your biochemistry. The information you're getting from these reports is likely very inaccurate. Supporting with Histamine Nutrients supports your entire histamine pathway - it is the most comprehensive healthy histamine support supplement available.* I also doubt that MethylGenetic looked at your DAO haplotype - which is a 4 SNP combination of diamine oxidase. Our new Histamine Report looks at this. It will be available very soon. I'd start with Histamine Nutrients - take 2 capsules before bed or anytime during the day. I'd also consider supporting with ProBiota HistaminX after dinner to support a healthy histamine balance in your microbiome - which is where most histamine originates.* In health, |
Hi, I’ve taken the histamine quiz, the quiz recommended Histamine Nutrients and HistaminX. If you have slow COMT and are compound heterozygous for MTHFR can both of these products be taken? I’m trying to figure out what to buy. Thanks so much Linda | Good question. Yes, you may. There's a lot of fear and misconception around SAMe and quercetin with a slow COMT. These nutrients are very supportive of both genes. If you have a slow COMT, notice during menses that your histamine is worse during ovulation along with PMS, consider adding DIM+I3C. I think I added that to the quiz as well but not sure. Need to review. High estrogen promotes histamine production and histamine release. DIM+I3C supports healthy estrogen levels which thus supports a healthy histamine level. If you're experiencing quite a bit of stress and you want to support a healthy response to stress, consider Stress Nutrients. Stress increases histamine production and histamine release as well. It's a big factor that goes often unaddressed. In health, |
Am I able to give this to my 13 year old with PANDAS/PANS? It has many of the nutrients I’m wanting her to take to support her genetic mutations and symptoms. I’m not sure if she has histamine issues but it runs in the women in my family. Are there any other supplements you provide that would compliment this if so? She has low energy, muscle and joint pain, anxiety, sleep disturbance and OCD. Also newly developed stretch marks on her knees with no sudden weight gain which I hear points to zinc deficiency. (She’s been evaluated by several doctors including a pediatric immunologist/oncologist this year so I’m confident she doesn’t have any serious untreated disease.) | Am I able to give this to my 13 year old with PANDAS/PANS? Is this good for children? Thinking about this for my little 7yo daughter who has allergies (food and seasonal) | Yes. You may use this for your daughter. I recommend 1 capsule before bed and 1 capsule any time of when she needs it. I also recommend taking 1 capsule of ProBiota HistaminX after dinner. And 1/2 lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge upon waking up in the morning. Low glutathione levels are associated with more seasonal intolerances. For overall support, I suggest Kids Multivitamin Chewable MF and give her 1/2 to 1 chewable with her breakfast. This combination should help her experience healthy histamine levels, healthy focus, mood and energy. In health, |
Hi Dr. Ben, I wasn’t sure where to pose my question to you on this so thought I’d start here. I have a dear friend who has gout in his left hand. Besides diet, do you have any supplements that you would recommend or natural remedies for treatment of gout? How would you treat a patient with gout (if they presented to your clinic in the past) and wasn’t a candidate for the typical treatment course (NSAIDs etc.)? So grateful to start this ‘Seeking’ journey membership course. Hannah, DNP | That's an interesting question. I'd consider Joint Nutrients first. This could be very supportive. I'd also consider dark cherry juice. He may also do well with Glutathione Plus Lozenges in the morning upon waking High levels of uric acid are often compensatory for low glutathione levels. Glad you're enjoying the Membership! ;) In health, |
Is this safe during breastfeeding? I’m only a few weeks postpartum and developing rashes especially after I eat shellfish or chocolate, which never happened after my previous pregnancies. Although I have many symptoms on the list like sensitive to fragrances and reacting terribly to bug bites and taking months to stop itching. Does histamine affect breastmilk? Which histamine support product is best for me? Thank you! | Yes, it is. All our histamine supplements are safe, and useful, during breastfeeding. I recommend the following support: Histamine Nutrients: take 1-2 capsules before bed to support overall healthy histamine levels - and a good night's sleep ProBiota HistaminX: take 1 capsule after dinner to support a healthy histamine level in your gut. Gallbladder Nutrients: take 2 capsules before dinner to support healthy bile production and bile flow. This is very commonly disturbed from pregnancy and really needs support. I suspect this is a major contributor for you. Optimal PC: take 1 capsule with dinner or after. This supports your bile production and flow as well. It also really supports breast milk flow, breast milk nutrition and your baby's brain development - which is key for overall life. If you are wanting to eat the chocolate and shellfish, I recommend taking Histamine Digest just before you eat them as it will digest the histamine that you're experiencing from them. That said, I recommend the Histamine Bundle as I suggested a number of them found in this bundle -and you'll save a significant amount. |
Hello, what is the max amount of capsules that can be taken in a day? | There is no max. This is a safe supplement to use. Use as needed. What you want to watch for though is fatigue, lack of focus and constipation. These may occur if one is too low in histamine. You may compliment Histamine Nutrients by: ProBiota HistaminX: take 1 capsule after dinner to support healthy histamine levels in the gut. HistaminX: take 1-2 capsules any time of day or night to support healthy histamine stabilization inside the cell. In health, |
Hello! I struggle with environmental allergies, especially during pollen season. I also struggle with sleep, it takes me several hours to fall asleep (MTHFR, sensitive to methyls). Most natural supplements I have tried do not help (CBD oil, GABA, lemon oil, Ashwadandha, L-theanine); the only thing that helps is melatonin, but I avoid it since I read its safety is questionable. I am wondering if maybe a histamine product might help; and which one from your line would be best. I eat tangerines and drink orange juice everyday - not sure if they could be a culprit; but it's the only fruits I enjoy. Should histamine levels be tested before starting a histamine products? Thanks! | Melatonin is safe to use. One does not need to test histamine prior to using a histamine supportive supplement. Histamine is tricky to measure as well - not to mention expensive and time consuming. It's pretty obvious if one is high histamine or not. Orange juice can be pretty high histamine. I'd have that earlier in the day and avoid drinking that later in the day as it may be negatively impacting your sleep. You could take 1 capsule of Histamine Digest when drinking your OJ and eating tangerines. The OJ is likely the highest in histamine compared to tangerines. I'd use Histamine Nutrients before bed. I'd also use it when you are needing to support a healthy response to environmental exposures. Histamine Nutrients works in about 20 minutes after taking it. I'd also use ProBiota HistaminX after dinner. In health, |
Will this product help with Hives? I have food allergies and some mold issues. | Hives are associated with high histamine. Histamine Nutrients is designed to support healthy histamine levels. I would take this before bed. I'd use Histamine Digest when eating. For after dinner, I'd consider ProBiota HistaminX. Upon waking in the morning, consider 1 full lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge. I highly recommend, if not already, going 100% gluten and cow dairy free. Helps a lot of people - including me. In health, |
If I take the Histamine Nutrients on a day - can I also take a Multi MF too - or does that overlap supplements too much? | You can. I suggest this: Take Histamine Nutrients when you need to. Some people need it a few times a day and others need it just before bed to support healthy onset of sleep and healthy sinus breathing. Histamine Nutrients seems to take an average of 20 minutes to experience benefits. I'd take Multivitamin One MF with breakfast ONLY on mornings that you need support. Seems that most people need this multivitamin every day for the first week. Then after the first week, they seem to do well on it M, W, F or just M and Thursday. Depends of course on how busy and stressful your days are. I'd highly recommend starting your day with 1/2 lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge along with a serving of Optimal Electrolyte. Once you do, you'll see why I recommend it ;) In health, |
Hello, For MTHFR, I'm getting anxiety and shortness of breathe from Methyl-B12 and Methyl-Folate and several other supplements. Is this from a dirty histamine pathway? or high homocysteine levels? or something else? Thanks! | It may be - hard to say. Folate does feed into the histamine pathway so it's possible. I would evaluate each supplement with your health professional and stop using the supplements that are aggravating you. Many people think they 'have' to supplement just because they have the MTHFR variant. This is far from the truth. I recommend reading Dirty Genes. This book is a great starting point. In health, |
Hello, Do you guys have any other alternative for this product that does not have any porcine in it? Thanks | Two alternatives you may use are HistaminX and ProBiota HistaminX. Take 2 capsules of HistaminX in the morning or as needed when you're needing to support healthy histamine levels. HistaminX is best used daily during times of needed support. ProBiota HistaminX is best used after dinner each night. I also recommend using 1/2 lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge upon waking. In health, |
I am looking for a product to help what I believe to be a histamine response to alcohol. I get a massive headache that can sometimes last for multiple days from just having a couple ounces of whiskey or rum. I also get a little congested and swollen eyes. I am currently taking optimal liposomal glutathione, methyl B12, B Complex and Saccharomyces Boulardii. I have tried Histamine digest but it didn't work for me. HELP Please :) | I would try this:
I prefer using 1/2 lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge in the morning upon waking. If I'm really brain fogged and need a burst of healthy energy, then I will use 1/2 lozenge of Brain Nutrients. You may be right about using Histamine Nutrients but I think these other things may be more appropriate. We want to address the underlying issue which is the alcohol metabolism not the histamine response. In health, |
Hi--I saw your Instagram story about using this product for sinus pressure. I definitely want to give it a try for that purpose. However, I notice that this product contains several B vitamins. I just ordered your B Minus product. Is it ok to take this product in addition to the B Minus? Or would that be doubling up more than necessary? | Use Histamine Nutrients as needed when you need to support healthy histamine levels. Use B Minus on days you want to support healthy energy and healthy moods. You don't need to take both every day - and you shouldn't - unless you are experiencing issues in both. It is ok to combine them both as needed. In health, |
Hi, I suffer from chronic idiopathic urticaria. Would this product be helpful for this? Thank you! | Histamine Nutrients supports healthy histamine levels. I'd also consider ProBiota HistaminX after dinner along with Stress Nutrients with a protein based breakfast. If you find yourself feeling worse after meals, consider Histamine Digest and take with meals. Histamine Digest supports healthy histamine levels from food and drink and the microbiome. Upon waking, I'd consider using 1/2 lozenge of Glutathione Plus Lozenge. For food, I'd seriously consider going 100% gluten-free for 2 weeks and see how you feel. In health, |
Hi! I just recently found out that most of my ill health is due to a Histamine Intolerance. I’ve changed my diet to a low histamine diet and started taking extra supplements and a vegan DAO to support this and have noticed a drastic change in my health. Though still not 100% better. I started taking some of your products recently! I am also Vegetarian and would like to know if you have a vegetarian version of this product, Histamine nutrients? I see the value in how you have formulated this product though would love a vegan/ vegetarian version if thats possible? Thanks so much! -Melissa | Thank you for your question! 1. Does any of the ingredients make you hard to fall asleep at night? 2. Is it just for histamine caused by food? Or also support other source like dust mite, cat fur, PM2.5 allergy? | These ingredients support a healthy night's sleep. It's designed to support healthy histamine levels - from anything - dust, cats, plants, etc In health, |
