Does my Seeking Health product contain or increase histamine?Updated 6 months ago
Our products are intended to be free or low in histamine, however we currently do not test our products for histamine content, so we cannot state its levels.
Dr. Lynch himself has histamine sensitivity, so he always keeps that in mind when formulating his products, as he takes the supplements himself. That being said, it has been shown in research that histamine reaction to foods is person-dependent, not necessarily food-dependent. Yes, there are certain foods such as fermented foods or fish that can cause most people with histamine intolerance to react, however food triggers can depend on someone's enzymatic function, lifestyle and genetics. Because each individual may react differently to any supplement, it is best that you speak with your qualified healthcare professional prior to considering the use of any supplement to determine if its ingredients are suitable for you.
