Are there any warnings or side effects when using Vitamin D Drops?Updated 3 months ago

Warnings
A single serving size is ONE DROPLET, not a full dropper. A single droplet contains 50 mcg (2000 IU) of vitamin D. Keep out of reach of children as high doses of vitamin D can be toxic.

Children and pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use if tamper seal is damaged. Do not exceed suggested use without physician consultation.

Side Effects

The side effects for Optimal Vitamin D drops may include:

  • Weakness
  • Fatigue
  • Sleepiness
  • Headache
  • Loss of appetite
  • Dry mouth
  • Metallic taste
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting

These side effects are more likely if more than the recommended dose is taken. Be cautious when dosing this product: a single droplet provides the recommended dose. A full dropper provides 60,000 IU, which is far above the recommended dose and could be toxic.
