Are there any warnings or side effects when using Vitamin A Drops?Updated 4 months ago

Warnings

High doses of vitamin A (above the recommended amount) is potentially toxic. Because vitamin A is not excreted in urine (it is a fat-soluble vitamin), it is not easily removed from the body if too much is taken.

The serving size is one single droplet.  It is recommended that you take caution in the delivery method of this potent product, as one drop contains 1500 mcg RAE.

If you have an existing medical condition or take a medication for skin conditions (Retinoids), please consult your healthcare professional before considering the use of Vitamin A Drops.

If you are taking anticoagulants, cancer drugs, weight loss drugs, or retinoids, or are being treated for any medical condition, please contact your health professional before considering the use of this product.†

Side Effects

Side effects are uncommon if taken in the recommended dosing.

If the dosage is exceeded, side effects may include:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Vertigo or dizziness
  • Blurry vision
  • Mental confusion

If you believe that you are experiencing any of the above side effects or any adverse reactions, please discontinue use of this product and see your healthcare professional immediately.

Each individual may react differently to any product or supplement. We always recommend that you consult with your healthcare professional prior to considering the use of Vitamin A Drops or any supplement.
