Warnings

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.

Consult with a healthcare professional to determine whether iron supplementation is necessary and suitable for you. When taking high levels of iron, use under the care of a qualified physician and track blood levels. If you are being treated for any condition or are currently taking any medications, consult with your healthcare professional before considering the use of this product.

Not suitable for children under 4 years of age. For children of any age, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional who can determine an appropriate dose or whether this product is safe for them to take.

For pregnant and breastfeeding women, please talk to your qualified healthcare professional before considering the use of this product as this product has not been tested for safety in these groups.

Side Effects

Side effects of Optimal Iron may include:

  • Stomach upset and pain
  • Orange urine
  • Heartburn
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
