Adrenal Cortex FAQ'sUpdated 6 hours ago

Under what conditions are the cows raised for Adrenal Cortex?

The cows supplying the cortex used in Adrenal Cortex originate in Argentina. They are free range and fed with only natural grass. Only naturally occurring hormones are present in the adrenal cortex.  No human administered hormones are added to Adrenal Cortex during processing or rearing of the animals.

Are the hormones from the bovine cortex in Adrenal Cortex removed?

Our Adrenal Cortex uses freeze-dried cortex material – while taking the adrenal cortex itself is not the same as directly consuming corticosteroids, there may be small amounts of residual corticosteroids (such as aldosterone and cortisol) in the cortex material. These compounds, if present, will be present in insignificant amounts.†

Is Adrenal Cortex considered cortex only, or glandular?

Our Adrenal Cortex uses freeze-dried cortex material only. While the adrenal cortex is part of the adrenal gland, Adrenal Cortex does not contain the whole gland - just the cortex.
